The Java Shack Reviews
Big thanks to Chris & Sarah for delicious, healthy food and a welcoming atmosphere that are Java Shack's trade marks! No matter how busy they are, the staff always have a smile & a hello for you when you walk in the door. The food is consistently fabulous! I've yet to find a muffin that compares to Java's. Thanks so much guys!
Will be back! Delicious, healthy food for a great price.
3 of us decided to skip pita pit today and went into the store for some lunch. We were then told that most of what we wanted to order wasn't available. No grilled cheese, no tuna, no godfather, etc etc. We finally gave up trying to order anything and left. There's so many bakeries in town to get bread. You're literally a sandwich shop. 60+ bucks in food orders walked out the door today. Likely won't bother trying again.

The Java Shack is a cozy spot, perfect for meeting friends or having a meal. Its atmosphere is lovely, with a water view and a quiet, relaxing vibe without music. The staff are friendly, always greeting visitors with a smile and a hello. The menu offers great choices at reasonable prices, and the chalk art on the menus adds a charming touch. The food is consistently delicious, with standout dishes like the Eggs Pollenny, which features a perfectly fried egg and caramelized polenta. For a hearty vegan option, the Mclovin salad is a good choice. The pulled pork sandwich called The Boss is also highly recommended, served with a side of their exceptional salad. The coffee and sandwiches, including a fresh roast beef option, are served promptly and courteously. Visitors often enjoy the bread and the friendly, welcoming environment. Recently, many have praised the “boss” sandwich and the BLT, which is considered the best ever experienced. The homemade tomato soup served as a side perfectly complements the meal. The Eggs Pollenny remains a favorite, with some visitors appreciating the option of a half or full order, and noting that it’s well worth the wait of about 35 minutes. The plate includes potato and yam home fries along with a generous serving of fresh fruits. Overall, The Java Shack provides a beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff, and a menu that satisfies various dietary preferences, making it a cozy gem for casual dining.
