I'm from the states and we came to Castlegar from Nelson BC just for a day trip. My friend said this is the best place to eat Chinese food at. To my surprise it was pretty expensive for what you're getting I don't understand the sweet and sour chicken breading it was very hard period their garlic pork was very sweet like soaked in some syrup. Very strange. The lemon chicken was very yummy. 50+ dollars for 2 meals
The server was friendly and very efficient. They took down modifications for the meal and had it ready for pick up very promptly. ( Within 10 minutes). Great food, large portions at a reasonable price.
I am from Alberta. It is hard to find good Chinese food there. Chopsticks food is delicious and the portions are huge. This is probably why they are so busy and take way over a hour for delivery. If I get the opportunity to work in Castlegar again I will definitely be ordering again.
