Our booth seat was broken, the food was dry, to the point where the sauce left a weird texture on the yakisoba noodles instead of being an actual sauce.
Service was slow, brought food out at staggered tines instead of meals all at the same time, and didn't offer sugar or milk for tea.
The menu has downsized compared to previous years, with many options for kids being removed.
Children were not offered cutlery or chopsticks, and staff must have assumed children eat with their hands.
The staff did not inquire how everything was, but avoided making eye contact as we reluctantly paid for our poor quality meal.
For obvious reasons, we did not take our unfinished meals to go, nor would we ever consider going back.

Update: October 2024- This place has kind of become my go-to for sushi. Excellent service again today (as always) I recommend the Korean Kimchi roll, the gyozas and the Red fun roll. Really, anything in the menu seems to be good ?

Hidden Gem tucked away in the corner of strip mall. The atmosphere is dark and a bit dated however the quick and attentive service and food make up for that. I had a hot and comforting bowl of miso soup to start. I ordered one of the lunch combos (option c- spicy tuna roll and BC roll). It was really good! Prices are very reasonable. Perfect spot for a quick lunch if you like sushi.

It was incredibly tasteless. The tempura had cinnamon in it?. The yakisoba had a strong taste, the toppings were strange, and I think it was boiled instead of fried. The sushi rolls had a strange taste and were not tasty. Service is also not good. The waitress kept on the phone. The price is too high. I thought it was impossible for such a bad sushi restaurant to charge such a high bill.

Only been once, but I was impressed by the delicious food and competent staff members. I had the Tofu Teriyaki and Inari Maki. The Teriyaki was actually plently to fill one person but I'm glad I got the maki too for the flavour. The prices are a couple of dollars higher than I usually see but in my experience the quality matched that increase.
Vegetarian options: Vegan options are clearly marked on the menu and clearly have plenty of care put into making them flavourful.

And stopped at this little restaurant that had pretty good ratings and I have to say that it was worth it. We had California rolls and Tempura prawns, along with veggie bento box and everything was excellent!
