The review is all about the food. As others have mentioned it feels a little dated, but the food was fantastic. Perfect tempura, and gyozas, rolls were tasty and well portioned, not over packed with too much or too little rice. Definitely would reccomend and return here. Far better than we expected for sushi in Castlegar, coming from Vancouver.

This is one of the worst Korean restaurants that I visited in my life. The food was not tasting like Korean at all. They burned my food and still served it. It is also quite dirty, dark, and dusty in the restaurant. Also very overpriced. It is a shame that Castlegar doesn't have any right Korean restaurants.

I went and dined in got seated and waited for 30 minutes before anyone even noticed I was sitting there. There was only one other table when I was there. When I asked to talk to a manager or someone in charge, I was told no one was there to bring this up to them.

Food is great, sometimes too much mayo maybe; The servers do not and never have checked on us enough though, and this has been consistent across many services and servers.
We like the food so we come back but servers tend to take a long time to get to us, some people seated after will be tended prior to us, or they serve us our food and forget about us until long after we've needed refills and finished our food... sometimes I want more but the long wait for a server makes me leave early. Always a little disappointed.
The place echoes a little, but the booths are fairly comfortable.
Edited to add: I always tip, used to tip more, but after I realized I would be consistently ignored, I started tipping less.
Our booth seat was broken, the food was dry, to the point where the sauce left a weird texture on the yakisoba noodles instead of being an actual sauce.
Service was slow, brought food out at staggered tines instead of meals all at the same time, and didn't offer sugar or milk for tea.
The menu has downsized compared to previous years, with many options for kids being removed.
Children were not offered cutlery or chopsticks, and staff must have assumed children eat with their hands.
The staff did not inquire how everything was, but avoided making eye contact as we reluctantly paid for our poor quality meal.
For obvious reasons, we did not take our unfinished meals to go, nor would we ever consider going back.

Both the sushi rolls and noodles are amazing—there’s no wrong choice! 🍜🍱 The appetizers are perfect for sharing and a great way to kick off your meal. Personally, I love Long Island cocktails, and the ones here are simply top-notch. 🍹👌
