On the positive side, taking Covid seriously. Comments below. Had been here ten years ago, suffered through TERRIBLY slow service. Hoped things had changed when a friend recommended we try this place. Food came fairly quickly, but getting a bill so we could get to our next commitment was unbearably slow. Not only was the bill wrong, when pointed out, the revised bill came back wrong! Running late by this point, so paid and left. Fish and chips were ok, but heavy on the batter....read full review
We pulled in for a light lunch. Didn't want anything fancy but a lot more than a fast-food joint. So it's a pub, a friendly pub, and a pub with a great cook. Forget the wait staff, they are paid to be nice. But the cook; my does she put out some fine dishes. We packed up the rest of the Chinese ribs to take home, I wasn't prepared to let them go to waste. In closing,, go for the cold beer and the great tasting food. It won't be the last time you visit.

The food was amazing and the service from Riley was spectacular. Recommend the fish and chips and the beef dip. You may want to add some cheese and grilled onions to the beef dip it made it more spectacular...5 stars!
