Came there for dinner after a ladies day out and all of us were over the moon impressed with everything (July 17th). The restaurant itself is beautiful and simple. Drinks were perfect. Food?!? Two friends and I went to the Offy for dinner. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was top-notch (Liza was our server) but the food was terrible. Schnitzel was gristly, the pesto pasta portion size was miniscule and the monsieur croque was not appetizing in the least. I don't normally send a review, but I do not recommend this Bistro.
We loved this place so much that we went twice—once for dinner and another time just to enjoy coffee. Both visits were outstanding. The ambiance is that of a cozy yet elegant French bistro, perfectly blending warmth and sophistication. While the restaurant is known for its top-tier cocktails, we found ourselves delighting in the exceptional wine selection. The menu features unique and delicious dishes, including Avo eggs Benny, French toast, Soft shell crab benny, Croque Madame, the Marry Me Chicken Sandwich, and the schnitzel. The beef ragoux was phenomenal, and the Truffle Frites are to die for. The Boobie Trap cocktail and potato rosti are absolutely delicious. With outstanding food and service, The Offy is a top-tier destination, perfect for a night out or brunch with family and friends. The Offy restaurant offers a fantastic view and a delightful experience with their food and drinks. The patio is a little loud, but that’s a given considering it’s on the corner of a busy intersection. The portions are generous. This bistro is one of the prettiest, kid/baby friendly, with accessible washrooms. The food and service were outstanding, the ambience was very European and welcoming.
