“Finding a gluten free breakfast on the go is always difficult, but in airports it’s next to impossible. On The Fly has the most delightful gluten free spanakopitas though and I was shocked! “In 1984 we watched the Griffin Pub being built. Over the years we have always dropped in and enjoyed their fish and chips. It is best described as a warm cozy place that sort of feels like your home. Friendly people and great food. I had the potato leak soup and fish and chips. It can get very busy for lunch so remember it opens at 11:00 AM. Thanks for all the years of great service.”

“I would like to give a Huge shout out for the Guthrie rd Comox lo action of Subway. I buy a lot of subway subs all around as I work and travel but the Comox location on Guthrie road is hands down the very best Subway I could ever find and I go out of my way and plan ahead just to have a Sub sandwich made by them. They make very clearly the best subs sandwiches I can find! Nit just the most fillings, but that is true. They also make the very nicest made and best laid out subs I could ask for. I have been buying Subway subs for at least 30yrs now and the Comox location is absolutely stellar! Happy people making the very nicest and best subs I have ever had, hands down! Try them out. I guarantee they will make you happy and make you a super good sub sandwich that can be eaten happily and cleanly and simply enjoyed. I have been saying this for some time now and tonight's turkey breast sub is proof positive! Sandwich artists They are and the mood and atmosphere is always happy ajd joyful. Please give all these people a raise, they definitely deserve recognition and applause!”

“We have ordered numerous times over the last few years & had excellent experience with the Comox Location (Take out only, as are all Panago locations).

We are very impressed as we love Pizza and have tried gourmet stand alone spots all over the Island, over our 11yrs here, especially in the Comox Valley. Also had many pizzas, including gourmet ones in downtown Toronto, we are pizza foodies.

***Always prompt (ready in 15min from call in) excellent service & extremely delish, come out nice & hot 🔥 so fresh!

The sauce & ingredients are exemplary, really stand out! High quality toppings that taste delish & very generous with amount on the gourmet pizzas, very impressed.

We ordered a few days ago (end of Sept 2025) after not ordering for a while due to cooking at home more + eating out on local patios during the summer.

The New York Deli & Mediterranean Veggie (we always request extra sauce for any pizza orders, regardless of restaurant) are both awesome 😎 & our personal faves!
We haven't gotten around to trying the others yet, but they sound delish too.

We didn't care much for the 2 topping Pizzas we tried once, a special I think...
***The Gourmet Pizzas are the way to go & very fair price for the quality & delish factor! We love the Original Crust (amazing) & love how there is always lots of their extra delish pizza sauce (we request extra when ordering). Never disappoints, fantastic!
