Always down for an ice cream treat! The service can be a little confusing, it’s changed a few times since coming here…For example: one time there were tokens when ordering ice cream, (helpful during busy summer months for staff, I’m sure) other times no tokens. Also a little inconsistent…sometimes I get big scoops of ice cream in my affogato, sometimes really small. Over all yummy ice cream treats! 🍦🍨
Gelato is really really good, i loved it, but it doesn’t really make sense to pay first and then pick the gelato flavours because when we went to go look at the flavours and hadn’t looked yet so we needed time to decide but the girl behind the counter just stared at us with a mad look on her face and didn’t say a word and walked away and nobody was helping us until a different girl came to ask if we had already paid. Maybe just miscommunication but still…
Back in the day, Benino was a cute and very small shop. It seems that with the growth, it's lost much personality and love for ice cream. It is still decent, but there is better ice cream in town now.
