“Have been multiple times this Summer each time with different people and we always end up having a wonderful time. We try to get something different every time which is easy because it seems they are always trying a new menu item.
Caesar salad with anchovies is a must.
Shuckers choice oysters don't disappoint but for me it's all about the sauces. The jalapeno and mignonette are my favorites. They also have an excellent wine list.“

“We went for a birthday dinner, as we have been at Martines many times. The restaurant was full as usual on a weekend. Was so noisy that you couldn't have a conversation, the food was very good, but the service was terrible. We ordered wine with our dinner, and it didn't come till we were almost finished our meal. Very disappointed with the evening.“

“A very unique and different style of restaurant.
There is a nice shaded patio where you can sit, or in the restaurant itself. You are greeted at the door by one of the pleasant and friendly servers or hosts. The restaurant looks like something out of Harry Potter. It is all wood, with nice seating booths, through to a stone fireplace. It is stunning and a treat to go and see. Then we move on to the food, nothing can prepare you for the delicious, fresh food items available. Everything is done from scratch, down to their homemade bread and produce brought from their own farm. The array of soup, salads, sandwiches and baked goods available and made fresh is astounding. The meat cheese etc. are fresh and delicious. You can smell the bread baking inside and outside the restaurant, along with the homemade soups and baked goods. The squash soup and smoked meat sandwich are to die for. The soup also comes with a slice of homemade sourdough bread. If you're not satisfied and full enough once you've eaten (hard to believe 😋) you can take bread and baked goods home with you. There is also a store with wonderful soaps, shampoos lip balm all made by the workers.
This is a gem in the middle of Courtney and I highly recommend a visit. Just be prepared to be hooked in and want to visit every time you are in the area.“

“A perfect spot fo a nice delicious breakfast that is all cooked and prepared by chef Raymond to start off the day, breakfast is always provided for free for the hotel guests and the warm, friendly and happy staff will always put on a strong effort to keep all of the customers satisfied, I have always had a positive experience and the atmosphere is always an inviting one.“

“The food was really good but felt the chicken portions in both the chicken quesadillas and chicken club were lacking. The chicken club had one small slice that was super thin, that’s it. The quesadillas were large but maybe 2 small bites of chicken in each piece. For a “chicken” based restaurant you would think you would have more chicken in each meal.“
