In 1984 we watched the Griffin Pub being built. Over the years we have always dropped in and enjoyed their fish and chips. It is best described as a warm cozy place that sort of feels like your home. Friendly people and great food. I had the potato leak soup and fish and chips. It can get very busy for lunch so remember it opens at 11:00 AM. Thanks for all the years of great service.
Nice pub and restaurant. The food is quite good here. A elderly fellow did a faceplant in the parking lot while we were out there. Just wondering if the staff has heard anything about Don. We took his car to the hospital.
We went for lunch after a military event. Staff were wonderful, patio was lovely and the food was delicious. I had the Brie which was amazing. Close to the base (CFB Comox) so very convenient for us. Have been before and will go back again. Good portion sizes and decently priced. We all felt very welcomed to be there, even though we showed up a little before they even opened.
