We picked Pickled Carrot to cater a recent function for 45 people. The food and service was great. The Smoked Brisket was a hit. If there was any complaint it is that there was too much food :). Lots of groans from over eating that delicious dinner. Thanks for everything Muriel

They catered our company xmas party this year and every single person commented on how amazing the food tasted. Their presentation of the food was beautiful and they did the entire set up/take down so we could enjoy our staff party. I will be hiring them again year after year, there's no doubt. Muriel at the Pickled Carrot catered our wedding at Filberg Park in Comox in August, 2022. Muriel's chef, Steve, was also present. The food was outstanding, and the service was exceptional. Muriel worked with us closely around our dietary needs and preferences. She made the planning worry-free. We, and our guests enjoyed the food entirely. It was presented beautifully, and it was delicious. Muriel was flexible about a couple of last minute adjustments, too. Mac in Courtenay.

My husband and I came for dinner, had mushroom burgers with all the extra’s. OMG so delicious! I was so full my husband happily finished mine too! Also the patio is great, all those flowers add that special touch. Quick service and great attitude. What more could ask for? Would definitely recommend this food truck!
I had a burger and fries, my wife had a mozza burger and fries. Friendly, fast service, so that's a big plus. Burgers didn't have a lot of flavour. My wife didn't even want to finish hers. Fries could have been from Costco. Definitely not worth $37.00

The food here is absolutely delicious and high quality. Also their service goes above and beyond. They took my order without hesitation and a smile despite it being very close to closing time and had my food ready for me super quickly. I would gladly eat here again.

This is good food. But the owners have dramatically over estimated the value of their products. Half the price would still be overpriced. Will not be seeing this place again. The look on the next customers face when he was told the cost of his meal was priceless.

Overpriced as others have said...I won't go back. Food is alright but nothing crazy but prices are just ridiculous. They tried to sell me a burger and side poutine for 35$ no drink incl. The pickled carrot is just a very basic what you'd expect.. once again way overpriced.

We have been to the Pickled Carrot many times over the years and we love the food, the service and the prices. This food truck is not your average food truck experience. First and foremost the facility is spotless, which is a pleasant change from some of the food trucks we've seen. We've tried pretty much everything on the menu and we definitely have our favourites. The chicken burger is tender and delicious. The coating on the chicken is gluten free, which is a total bonus. The burgers are seriously the best we've ever had. Our all time favourite from the Pickled Carrot is the Newfie Poutine! As a Newfoundlander who is far from home I was so pleased to get a great feed of chips, dressing, and gravy! This is a staple on the Rock and I certainly don't know of anyone else who has it. I was also super pleased that they use real Newfoundland, Mount Scio savoury! Super delicious and well worth the drive! We also attended a wedding 4 years ago that was catered by The Pickled Carrot and the food was truly amazing! There were a few guests who were Celiac and another couple who were gluten intolerant. I have never been to any catered event that had so many delicious options with no gluten!
