Although I no longer live here, I come back every year when visiting family/friends and it never disappoints! My favorite breakfast spot with heaps of fruit, good coffee, and nice service :)

Tried their $12 Delight promotion. I was hesitant because as a solo dining senior, my experience has often not been good at other establishments. But Cora's was amazing, no strings attached. The staff were attentive, the food was delicious and filling as promised on their radio ads. And as usual, the men's room was clean. Thank you for treating me with respect. Thank you servers, for not using that insincere line, 'so what's happening for the rest of the day?' 😉 Inclusion of fresh fruit in your dishes is especially appreciated ♥️

Had not been to Cora’s in a while. The $12 breakfast specials are a great value - good portion sizes. We had the Western omelet with lots of fillings, plus tomatoes, or fruit, and great tasting potatoes and choice of toast and jams. Service was very quick, friendly and efficient. The restaurant was very busy around 9.30am with lots of families. We were shown a seat near the washrooms where the aroma from the nearby washrooms was not great, and the foot traffic there was non stop. The restaurant was very noisy and I couldn’t even have a normal sounding conversation - I had to keep shouting out loud to be heard. The restaurant could do with some noise abatement technology on the ceiling. Apart from these 2 issues the experience was great.

I’ve been choosing Cora for breakfast for a long time, and it has remained my favorite without question. The service is consistently excellent, the staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and full of positive energy, and the atmosphere is always enjoyable.
My go-to order is the Poutine Breakfast, which never disappoints. Highly recommended 🤩🤩

Cora Breakfast and Lunch in Coquitlam is a dependable and welcoming spot for a satisfying breakfast or brunch. Whether you’re stopping by for a relaxed morning meal or meeting up with friends and family, this location offers a comfortable atmosphere and a menu with plenty of variety to suit different tastes. From classic breakfast plates to more indulgent sweet options, there’s something for everyone.
One of Cora’s biggest strengths is their generous portion sizes. You definitely get good value for what you pay, and it’s hard to leave feeling hungry. Their signature fruit plates stand out, featuring fresh, colourful fruit that adds a refreshing balance to the heartier dishes. The pancakes were fluffy and filling, and the eggs were cooked well, paired nicely with toast and sides. Presentation is also appealing, with bright colours that make the meals look just as good as they taste.
The service was friendly and efficient, even during a busier period. Staff were polite, attentive, and helpful without rushing the experience. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, which is always appreciated, especially during peak brunch hours.
That said, while the food is consistently good, it doesn’t always feel exceptional. Some dishes taste fairly standard for a breakfast chain, and a few items could use a bit more seasoning or creativity. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but the large portions and fresh ingredients help justify the cost.
Overall, Cora Breakfast and Lunch in Coquitlam earns a solid four stars. It’s a reliable choice for a filling, visually appealing breakfast with friendly service, even if it doesn’t completely stand out from similar brunch spots.

Old menu was much better. The potatoes were raw. The “carnivore poutine” came with caramelized onions that had the consistency of snot and the chopped up burger patty had chunks of bone in it. Gotta bring that old menu back!!
