I ordered the Shoyu Ramen and the Japanese-style pork cutlet (Tonkatsu). The ramen itself was fairly average—I did like their bamboo shoots, but the chashu wasn’t really my style. The Tonkatsu, while not as crispy or as large as those from specialty tonkatsu restaurants, was still quite tasty and of decent quality. Overall, it’s just a neighborhood ramen shop—you don’t come here expecting anything mind-blowing, just something convenient and satisfying to fill you up.

The meat is so thin! You can eat the 2 slice in one bite.
The egg barely have a color in it.

This place is probably the best Ramen spot in Coquitlam!
Broth is really rich and flavor full,
The noodles are chewy and not to thin,
Karage was cripsy and juicy,
Desert was a shaved ice!
If your looking for a quick delicious bowl of ramen this is the place!

Quality of ramen was not good. Have been here a lot of times but today was the 1st time experienced this.
First time at Honjin, won't be the last. I had the light shoyo, great flavour, not too rich, tender chashu and perfect portion size. The regular shoyu had a strong pork flavour, I would probably order this for myself next time.
My family (2 adults, 2 young kids) just had a great experience here. We had the light shoyu and shio ramens, plus two kids light shoyu ramens, and a chicken karaage. The service was good, the food was fast and hot, and the prices were very reasonable. The ramens tasted really good and it looks like they make their noodles on site (there's a window at the front where you can watch). We had never been here before but will definitely come back as there are otherwise not that many ramen places near New Westminster.
Thanks Robert for your good service. I like the miso ramen a lot. Highly recommended.
We come here frequently. It’s been our favourite ramen spot since we came back from our first trip to Japan.

Wish they were open more. SOOOO. Good
Good selection and pricing, portions could be a little less modest but fair for the price. Excellent service.
Not bad, not great, just a neighborhood joint for a quick belly fill. Broth on a salty side, not the deepest. Chasu was sad - I even ordered extra and still wasn’t satisfied, mainly due to them being very thin (maybe 2 mm thick). Noodles were cooked well, nice texture. Portion is a bit small. 3/5.
Honjin has been the weekly go to spot for a quick hearty bowl of ramen for my partner and I. We love the simplicity of the soup and the texture of the noodles. The ramen never feels overly heavy or oily and highly recommend their chicken karage!
Pretty good shio ramen, would come again
