It's been a while since I've been to the John B Pub, a friend of mine and myself decided after a few years to go for lunch.Sure glad we decided to go to the "B" The food in the past has always been so consistent and very good. And happy to say after a few years it's still the same ( absolutely consistent )
We both had the JB Bacon Double Cheese Burger, with me having the Onion Rings, and the friend of mine the Fries and a Gluten free Bun for him as well.
Burgers were outstanding and extremely flavorful and definitely fresh, Onion Rings and Fries were both on point also. Add a couple beers to everything... And perfect...!!!
Service was very good, and our server always came around to see how we were doing.
Now that many of us are retired early now, we all may be going to the John B Pub more often for lunch.
By the way the menu has so much to offer, and covers everyone's needs. Seems like they downsized the menu a bit, because I definitely remember it being so many pages to turn lol. It was almost too much to choose from before. Now it seems to be the perfect menu size, that still covers everyone's needs.

A local gem. Both food and beverage selection is great. The building is wheelchair accessible. The access to public transit and taxi/Uber is easy.

Sunday afternoon-waited @ front for 10-15 minutes for a hostess to set us. Placed at a table. No menus. Sat there for 15 mi utes with no service. A table got seated beside us-given menus and were served. We walked out.
We’ve been here before with amazing service. Not acceptable.

i live in the neighborhood and have been here a few times. the place has great drinks and food selection. however, i felt neglected by the staff a few times i was here, no particular reason but they never seemed to pay attention to my table. while they were really nice talking to us and helping us with our orders, they were just not frequenting our table enough even though we had lots to order. Hopefully this changes next time i go as i really do like the bar!!

I drove 20 minutes to come for their Monday Wings special. When I arrived there was a sign to seat myself. Every seat was reserved and i was not approached by any staff to tell me they had an event so I spent 2 minutes walking around. I checked all of their social media platforms and they are still actively promoting dine in specials while not accepting any customers.

Had a great time at the karaoke night that takes place every Sunday. The drinks were top notch, I particularly enjoyed the Hi There hard iced tea. The waitstaff was a bit difficult to flag down sometimes, but the service was great otherwise. Definitely will be coming back for karaoke and drinks again.

Went here on a random Wednesday night and it seemed it was trivia night! We did not participate but watched and it seemed very fun and there was a great atmosphere. The food was pretty solid as well and wasn't super expensive. They have a massive selection of tap beers. I tried a local tap that was very good but then got a asahi super dry on tap and It tasted horrible. It tasted like their taps had not been cleaned as the taste was nothing like what asahi should taste like. I would say be careful on the beer you order and maybe only get local beer as it seemed to taste a lot better from my experience.

A retirement function was held there Sept. 19, the management was unfriendly and non supportive of our celebration program The JOHN B GETS A D FROM ME. I won't be back or recommend this place.
