Super tasty, extremely friendly and very reasonable! We love coming here! Ask Gi Gi if she has started teaching her Thai cooking classes ... she is a wealth of knowledge on the regional Thai cuisines.
Coming from someone who is half Thai and visits family back in Thailand regularly, this was the first Thai restaurant I felt was more authentic than others I've been to in the lower mainland, serving things like Haw Mok seafood and Tapioca pork balls which I don't typically see in Thai restaurants here. We got to speak to the owner a bit, and they mentioned wanting to make the dishes how they like to eat them. They said they go back to Thailand every year, very friendly...
This place is such a gem in the Austin area! Their panang curry is the best I've tried in Vancouver, and the pad see-ew is also amazing. Their home-made chili sauce has incredible flavour - definitely give it a try. They have lots of great vegetarian options, and you can customize the spice level on each dish. Everything I've tried is delicious and reminds me of the food I ate when I visited Thailand! The staff are so sweet and always make us feel welcomed and comfortable....
