All carb options are made fresh in house, arrive early on the weekends to make sure their fried pancakes are in stock. All the great hits for a noodle shop

Based on the reviews, Lucky Gate Chinese Restaurant offers a mix of experiences. The service is consistently good, and the restaurant has an intensive menu with plenty of selection. The hot items are hot and the cold dishes are cold, not greasy or oily. Noodle dishes are generous with good portions, and the noodle itself is dense. Many meals have been completely terrific, and it is easily a favorite restaurant. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. In particular, the rare fish dumplings, hot vermicelli noodles, fried shrimps, Xinjiang chicken, and pickled cabbage white meat pot are all worth recommending. However, the food quality can be just average, and some dishes are way too salty, like the beef noodle soup. The xiaolongbao is big and juicy, just slightly over steamed. Deep fried dishes may need caution as the oil is not refreshed often.
