We ate here today and, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Whilst the service lacked courtesy and patience, what should have been the most reliably shining aspects of the meal were even more underwhelming.
The ‘feta’ in my spanakopita and on the Greek salad was almost certainly not PDO feta imported from Greece. It lacked the distinct tang and depth you get from sheep’s (and some goat’s) milk, instead tasting like the milder cow’s milk imitations that aren’t even allowed to call themselves feta in Europe. That was particularly disheartening at a restaurant advertising ‘authentic Greek food’.
The pita also tasted and chewed more like Olive Garden’s garlic bread than the traditional Greek flatbread I’ve had in Athens. I likewise didn’t get the impression that Greek extra-virgin olive oil was being used—an ingredient that’s practically sacred in Greek cuisine.
To be fair, the meat and seafood dishes at our table were largely well received. However, as a vegetarian, I was surprised by how limited the options were, given how many naturally vegetarian dishes Greek cuisine offers.
That’s ultimately why the so-called ‘feta’ was so disappointing. When a restaurant markets itself as serving ‘authentic Greek food’, is it unreasonable to expect authentic Greek ingredients?

Expect to wait if you are trying to dine in, but I totally understand why this place is so popular. I wonder if the takeout portions are just as colossal!
Fiancé and I both enjoyed the Roast Lamb dinner. The calamari was pretty good as well. Tzatziki was thick and creamy, overall a nice night out and had plenty of leftovers!

Food is always great. Never been inside as it's always packed. Only done take out so far. But would say it's in top 5 best greek food places in lower mainland.

I had an amazing experience at this Greek restaurant. Our server, Alex, was fantastic. The food was absolutely worth the price: huge portions and great quality. Even my picky-eater friend said it was the best Greek food she’s ever had.
It gets busy, but the wait isn’t long and the service is impressively fast. I’ll definitely be back.

Large portions high quality Greek food. Staff is friendly. Only downside is that reservations are limited so we waited for 45 minutes. I would recommend and definitely return.

The food and staff are worth any wait. Laura is a gem. Our group got the saganaki, dolmades, Keftedes, lamb roast, chicken skaras, and chicken Santorini. All were delicious and the portions sizes were great.

This place is a little gem in the heart of Coquitlam. It’s spacious, warm, and inviting. It was busy when we arrived without a reservation, but they still managed to accommodate us. The servings are generous—so come hungry. Among the dishes we ordered, the saganaki and calamari truly stood out.

Best Greek food in Coquitlam! If you have a chance, get the beef souvlaki, the meat is tender and flavourful and the portions are large. The fresh tzatziki and pita bread always hits. Have been eating here for years and no plan to stop! If only they were open before 4pm
