It's only very partially ice cream on the top but the shaved ice in the rest of the dessert is decent
Such a chill little dessert place. Brought my daughters and they loved it. The mango bingo was fantastic!!

Had some sweet late-night dessert here.
We decided to try Passion8 in Coquitlam after having such a good experience at their Vancouver location.
Coquitlam did not disappoint. While they may not have the exact same menu, everything we tried was great. I wanted to order a croffle, but it wasn't available, so we ended up with two slices of cake: matcha and cookie dough. And honestly, that turned out to be an excellent idea.
The matcha cake was not too sweet and had a dense texture, just the way matcha should be. The cookie dough cake had chewy dough pieces on top, the right level of sweetness, and was perfectly moist. Everything was just so good.
We also ordered a Spanish Latte and a Chai Tea Latte, both were equally enjoyable. Surprisingly, the Chai Latte wasn't bland at all.
We paid $33 for four items, good for two people, including tip.
Service was good, the interior had a rustic vibe, and parking was easy since itās located in an outdoor complex.
Will definitely visit again!

Really disappointed. Their macarons used to be double the size they are now. The macarons used to look gourmet and luxurious because it was massive. Now itās the size of normal macarons found in other shops and doesnāt give you that feeling anymore. I understand thereās inflation but how can you reduce the size of it by 50% and keep the same price.

Bingsoo was yummy. The texture of the shaved milk was very nice. The fruit was overly sweet.
Macaronsā¦ā¦ā¦. Are a nope.
You can see into the kitchen and I kind of question the cleanliness of the food.
Yummy cakes and coffee! Amazing customer service as well. Will be back again!
Got the tiramisu bingosoo and berry bingsoo. I preferred the tiramisu bingsoo as it was rich in espresso. Definitely recommend this place.
I had a bowl of multigrain injulme last night and there was nothing much in $19 bowl but shaved ice pretty much. I only had couple of small injulme rice cake and very lightly covered injulme powder with a scoop of red beans. So cheap on ingredients..

barebones interior š and just some decent bingsoo, but they've got good dessert topping combos; the matcha bingsoo had a bold matcha powdery hitāgrassy, sweet, and not too bitter [bless whoever's sourcing it]. red bean and whipped cream were light but more sweet, and the matcha cheesecake was soft-cold and had actual matcha flavour [not just green-coloured sugar!!], only gripe is that there's more milk shaving to topping ratio..
