The lady at the counter was all smiley and nice, and recommended this rice cake. We had this kind of shiru tteok before and know we quite like it. However, when we got home and tried it, it was the worst rice cake I've ever had. I'll never visit this place again since their recommendation was horrible. The tteokgomul, the flavor was tasteless and the tteok was dry. Do not trust their recommendation!!!! I think the owner or an employee recommended Sirutdeok to clear inventory during closing time, but the taste and texture were the worst, there was almost no residue and there was no flavor at all. I'm glad it wasn't rotten, so I ate it and never went back.

I bought baram rice cake through GANDAGO delivery. I was only about to eat one or two when I realized that the last rice cake was hanging on my chopsticks. I took a picture of it hahahahahaha Wow, a bite of rice cake really fills my mouth with the taste of my hometown in Korea! Hahahaha Coquitlam is too far away so I don't know when I'll go there, but I'll order it often, even if it's through delivery service. I really enjoyed it!

Even if you make it at home, I think you can do better than the rice cake here. The Jeungpyeon sticks to my mouth and no matter how much I don't like it, it's really too sweet. They said the pickup would be at 9:30 in the morning, but they suddenly called and left in a hurry at 9:00. If it wasn't close, I don't think I would have been able to find it.What are you telling consumers to worry about because it's Sunday? I tried not to ignore it, but it's a bit harsh.

Terrible plastic food with artificial smell and taste ?. My husband bought a tray of rice cakes from that Korean bakery and then my kids had terrible indigestion with womiting. Please stay away from Seven Korean bakery if you don't want intoxication.

I deliberately went to see it from Vancouver. It was a rice cake shop that I happened to stop by when I met Noteri the other day. I couldn't remember well, so I looked it up and looked for it, but the rice cakes I wanted were all sold out, so I bought other ones and they were all delicious. They also gave me rice cakes as a service. I froze it in the freezer and ate it now, and it was delicious. .

If you order 10 packs of rice cakes that cost $12 each, it becomes $3 more expensive, which is a completely incomprehensible logic. When I went to the store, the person working there was friendly, but the person answering the phone wasn't very friendly.I hope the owner will take a look at the reviews written here.

They are very unethical. I ordered and PREPAID for individually packed rice cake for gifts for celebration. When delivered,, they were in a small plastic bags and a half of size. When I called the owner, she said sorry and that she will give some rice cake when I come by store! I had to rush to go to stores to buy packages for rice cake and it was embarrassing how small the rice cake was. Do not order big amount and never prepay!

One star rating is for service. These days, many places accept pre-orders and pre-payments, but are they not accepting them because they are in small quantities? He said he couldn't place an order because it was the weekend and he didn't know what would happen... If you take a boat out of Vancouver Island, you can't go early even if you want... So, does this mean that if you go late, even if you don't get the rice cake you want, there's still rice cake left over? Then there is no need to go there and use expensive oil. You can just buy rice cakes at Hanareum or Hannam. You really are doing this so much ㅠ.ㅠ

Kind of 1 out of 2 places to get anything for celebration rice cakes, dates and food decorations. Horrible communication but has decent products. Also they are not open till midnight on Sunday! Something the owner should update on google or anywhere else.

I had same experience as @Dana, they made up this absurd price when I asked to combine 2 two types of same price into one package. I told the lady why are you increasing the price by 3 dollars when all I am asking is to combine the two types? She said by as is, and you can combine it at home if you want. Great customer service. Not going back.
