Our first visit was good. Second one a bit weird.
We got scolded for parking the wrong way. Server seemed annoyed. The meat and egg was cold like it was refrigerated and expected to be warmed by the broth which I turn made the ramen cold. Also I asked for a side of chili oil and again met with annoyance and was told that I should have ordered the spicy ramen if I wanted spicy. What a weird comment
Not worth going when many Asian soup places close by

From the outside, this place shows a lot of promise as a hole-in-the-wall ramen shop, with an authentic look and comic-style decor. With the Funko Pop displays, it was surprising that the restaurant was not at all kid-friendly.

The food was underwhelming. The noodles had the texture of instant ramen (e.g., Shin Ramyun), and the broth, which is the core of any good ramen, was mediocre. Based on the food alone, it is surprising that the overall rating is as high as it is.

Service made the experience worse. Despite there being very few customers, our server was rude and inattentive, and interactions felt more like lectures than hospitality. When our toddler dropped chopsticks, we were told they were not for playing, and asking for extra pairs resulted in a lecture rather than help.

The atmosphere didn’t help. The music felt dated and out of place. At one point In My Life by The Beatles played alongside other similarly dated tracks, creating an oddly somber dining atmosphere.

With many strong ramen options available elsewhere, Ramengers falls short on food quality, service, and overall experience.

Overall, it was okay. Personally, I preferred the gukbap over the ramen. The atmosphere felt like a local neighborhood eatery, and the owner was very friendly.

I went with high expectations because so many people around me said it was amazing — and it was good, but maybe because I expected too much, it didn’t quite leave a lasting impression as a must-visit spot.

But still enjoyed it.

Stopped by this ramen spot on a whim and was so impressed! The broth was rich, perfectly seasoned, and the noodles had great texture. Absolutely a hidden gem — will definitely be back!

best ramen in the lower mainland. the portion of braised pork is much more flavourful and less fatty than chashu at other places.

The best ramen spot, hands down! I've tried so many places, but nothing compares to this one.
Perilla Ramen, Spicy Ramen, Spicy Perilla Ramen everything is amazing, but the Spicy Perilla Ramen is the ultimate winner! The service is great, and they are super friendly. Absolutely recommend this ramen gem!

The food here has been consistently delicious (several years patron). You can tell that it has been made with love. 10/10

Recommend Regular Ramen, Spicy Ramen and a serving of smoke pork to share. Don't forget to try their housemade kimchi and pickle onions. Still the best hidden spot for affordable ramen in the area even after the pandemic.

Came here with our kids- had the regular ramen (noodles made in house), salt and pepper chicken, and rice. We loved the food, the quirky decor, and the friendly staff! A bit small, so don't plan for a big group, but definitely recommend 👌. My husband especially loved the complimentary kimchi. Definitely a gem!

Extremely rude male server on Saturday night. No service whatsoever, he didn't want to explain anything, looked agitated and miserable to be there. Ruined the entire experience for us. Will never go back.

the ramen tasted about the same as what you'd get at other ramen shops. The pork was a bit cold which wasn't very pleasant. Service wasn't great overall. Also no highchair available, a note for parents. We expected something better due to the good google reviews.

I went here with my brother and the food was really good I had takoyaki for the first time and it was really good!! The octopus was nice and juicy and the pancake almost reminded me of potato!! My brother got got spicy ramen and the broth was really nice ! The service was really good and our food didn’t take very long which was nice and the interior is very interesting
There wasn’t a lot of people eating at the time we were here which made it not so loud in the restaurant which was nice

Love this place !!
