Judging from the number of stellar reviews from the past, I'm guessing the owner changed. Finally tried out my local sushi place and was thoroughly disappointed by the food. The quality of the nigiri was abysmal; the fish was undoubtedly old from the odor it gave off. California rolls were alright.

The restaurant was pretty small and the restaurant is pretty far from anywhere when we came we didn’t even notice the restaurant because it was so small but the sushi was very yummy ?

It’s a nice little sushi place in a residential area. The price is good and the food is delicious! The lady was pleasant and I loved it overall

Very quaint sushi restaurant in the middle of a residential neighborhood. The interior was very quaint and the staff were very nice. The kake udon broth was especially good, and I liked the amount of salmon provided for the two pieces of salmon nigiri that I ordered. The atmosphere is very nice, and I enjoyed the soft piano jazz that was playing in the background. Hidden gem for sure.

This premise primarily caters for take-out orders with one small table for dining in. We dined in and enjoyed every dish ordered to the last bite: miso soup, edamame, pork gyoza, shrimp and calamari tempura, beef udon, spicy tuna and salmon rolls, California roll, unagi don and salmon sashimi. Dishes are very reasonably priced. So glad we chose this place to have dinner tonight.Parking: Plenty of parking

I had their spicy chicken donburi special and a negitiro roll to taste the sea.Their goma ae (spinach with sesame sauce topping) was the best I've had in Vancouver. Their sauce was actually just sesame and no peanut from what I could tell. I have peanut allergies and wasn't bothered by it.I'd hiked up the hill for a lunch break and recommend ordering ahead if you are walking from near coquitlam central and have an hour for lunch. Hoy creek 18m there, 15m back.

I looooove Sushi Boss!! They are so incredibly kind when I call in for a pickup order, and their kindness follows through in person as well.I love their spicy salmon roll, the salmon takes so fresh and they even packed a gyoza in with the wasabi and ginger! Definitely recommend this place.
