Rocky Point ice cream is very good: not "foamy" like the packaged stuff these days: properly made, smooth and good flavours. Super convenient having this stand in the park. I used to drive to Rocky Point park specifically for the ice cream but go to the Lafarge area more frequently- parking is better and more facilities in the area, so with great ice cream it's all winning at this location
This is a great place and placed in the great spot, between the auditorium, the lake, parking lot, washrooms, playground, skate court, basketball court, tennis courts and beach volleyball courts. Unfortunately does not sell any food, just hot/cold drinks and some chips and candies. Bring your own food, some times we grab a pizza, sushi or Timmies and here we buy the drink and the desserts, friendly staff and easy to pay.
