Bun was soft, coffee taste with lots of filling. Overall was a good try

Update: I still go here often - they're still great. A tip about the new buns - their pistachio cream buns taste more like bitter almonds/fondant, so avoid them unless you like that sort of flavour. I wish they'd label it so instead of labelling it pistachio.

Original review: Delightful. I had the chocolate bun and a cafe latte. The bun was slightly crispy on the outside and with a gooey chocolate filling on the inside. They also have an online order option so that was nice!

What a delightful surprise! This tiny cafe/bakery has some of the best ear croissants I’ve had in BC! Coffee is delicious and service was prompt. I’ll definitely be back to try the ice cream buns!

My sister and I used to travel to lonsdale quay for these coffee buns but it had closed down since. Discovered that it opened up here in Coquitlam and tried them again yesterday and they’re just like I remember! They are soft and not dry, the bread is plush and taste amazing! We had usually gotten original, earl grey and Oreo! I would order other coffee buns over the years from other places and they never compared to this place. Will definitely be back!

it’s a nice place with tasty buns, but there are a couple of aspects that make it less attractive: the fact that there is no updated information about what buns they have in stock, so you can spend a long time choosing and end up with nothing🧑🏼‍🦯
also they close quite early as for me (6pm), especially in the hot summer time. nevertheless, I must say that both buns, cookies and drinks are quite tasty, the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing :3

We have been here multiple times and everytime it’s amazing! Everything so far has been so yummy from the breakfast croissant to there specialty buns and there cookies are also to die for.

The best place for coffee, delicious buns and all the cakes and pastries are top notch! The owners are great people. I left Coquitlam 6 years ago but I still go there whenever I can with my little family or my friends. Thank you Coffee Bun!

The food and drinks are great but really over priced and service was not the best. And a lot of the times when you walk in and order coffee buns, they don’t even have it and ask you to order it an hour before? Okay fine, so I did that, and I ask if they can put the ice cream and the buns separately because I’m not eating them right away and will be driving home or saving it another day.
They said putting ice cream in a cup is a separate charge of additional $5–what?
I said im not ordering more or less ice cream, I just wanted it separate so I can combine them myself later and not have the bun all soggy and wet.
But no, they said doing that they are selling two different items. Which to me just makes no sense and feels like the owner just want to up charge for everything on something that is already over priced.
I go to another coffee shop Papa Rotti and I never have issues like this. Just feels like a rigid business model :(

Edit: after the owner saw my review, they separated the ice cream in cups and said there wouldn’t any up charge. So at least the owner is aware of reviews and willing to fix the issue.

What a delightful little place inside the Henderson Plaza. It smelled amazing as I got inside, and had a nice atmosphere to it. I got an affogato and very much enjoyed it! Wish there were other flavours for the ice cream but it was still a delicious vanilla.

Definately not for Coffee lover.
Coffee is very bad.
Tiramisu Bun looks amazing but....
The only thing that is similar to tiramisu is that it is sprinkled with cacao powder.
