We went to TAP House, between Burnaby and Coquitlam, to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and overall the experience was great. The service was excellent—our server was attentive the entire time, even though we were a group of more than twenty people.
The only thing I wasn’t impressed with was the food. It felt under-seasoned, as if it hadn’t been marinated. For example, the chicken wings were quite bland, and I had to add salt on top, which I didn’t enjoy.
Other than that, everything else was excellent. I still recommend the place for gatherings and good service.

I came here with a friend at 7:45 and no one said anything to us at the door for like 5 minutes so we walked in and found a server and asked if we just sit or like what and she gives her coworker a look and tells us we just sit so we go to sit at the dinner part ready to order and she tells us we need an id even tho it was literally 7:45 and then told us we need to leave
But it was 7:45 not 9:30!!!

I’ve now had two separate visits to this pub end with the same disappointing problem: being charged for more drinks than I actually ordered. On my most recent visit, I was surprised to see an extra beer added to my bill. At first, I thought maybe I’d misread something—but then a friend who was with me noticed the exact same thing on theirs.
Mistakes can happen, but having this occur twice, and to two people at the same table, didn’t feel like an isolated slip-up. The pub itself has a nice atmosphere, but getting the bill right is a pretty basic expectation. After repeatedly being charged for items I didn’t order, it’s hard to feel comfortable coming back or recommending the place to others.

Hailey, Ethan and Josh Josh are great. They really know how to make customers feel amazing. I came here all by myself and now I am left with more friends than I first got here. Then I went on a dating app and then found the love of my life. Then the next night I came here and went dancing and found another girl that was the love of my life, and then the other girl came in and found me and called me out, so I am starting from scratch.
However, the staff were very supportive and then they taught me a big lesson in life about just sticking to one love of your life,…..that true love of your life ….just one that weekend!

The place is beautiful and relaxing. There is a staff member named Akaisha who really took good care of us, asking us how we are and about the food from time to time, keeping the tables clean, she is so hard-working and nice to the customers. She deserves to be appreciated 🙏. Well done to the business!

Your new menu fish and chips absolutely plain Jane garbage how disappointed I was even the batter was tasteless and as for the gravy flour and salt does not make a gravy I suggest you go back to your original supplier what a disappointment

Best place in BC, very clean, you eat well you drink well then you have the DJs who will take out your adrenaline with an extraordinary vibe, especially the DJ with the cap Luka ohh he is at the top. Obviously I have to go back. 100% recommendation

My wife and I had the worse experience at Tap House last Saturday. We had arrived with friends to have a meal to eat their chicken wings and pizza for our first time.
The waitress had not asked about our allergies and when we ordered the wings it had included this “blue cheese dip” and apparently it contained “dill” which my wife is allergic to “deadly”. My wife began having an itchy throat and swollen inside cause her air way to be tighter when breathing. I had to rush her immediately to the emergency hospital in New Westminster to get her an allergy shot in the hip, because it would had been deadly for her.
The day after in the morning I woke up to stomach pain realizing their food had given me food poison and I am now having constant diarrhea and nausea.
Do not bother responding to this review to “make up for it or apologize” we are never gonna return anywhere here again and wanted to share our review experience.
