Xiang Yuan Qiao Yunnan Cross Bridge Rice Noodle(COQ)

Came for lunch with the family. The place had lots of seating but was a little slow since there was only one staff member up front. Our food took about 10-12 minutes to come out. The staff also forgot our bubble tea, and we had to ask for it again during our meal. The stone pot noodle soup had a good amount of noodles but was pretty oily. It was an okay meal, but not super memorable.

The food is quite nice, I was born in Taiwan and they made the food exactly like home. The only concern that got my attention is the marketing. It’s unique and fun!!! Especially for young people and enthusiasts, but maybe soften it a bit so elderly people and kids feel welcomed here too. Great job guys! 謝謝你們。

My wife is severely ill with vomiting and diarrhea after eating the noodles w/ pork belly at this restaurant last night

The single cashier staff seems overworked, she couldn’t even take our payment until 10 minutes later after we asked to leave.

Perfect flavour, very good service! One of the only restaurants that my family can go to without feeling uncomfortable because of oil, dryness, or lack of vegetables. Unlimited cilantro.

Delicious rice noodle place! Our go-to restaurant. The food is hot, the servings fair, and the flavour is just the right note of savoury. We especially enjoy the beef brisket noodles. The service is good and the place cozy. It’s a pleasure each time we dine here.

The food was great, but the service left a lot to be desired.

We were told to reorder through the online menu because the buns were unavailable, which was totally fine. But ten minutes later, the server brought out four meals, seemingly forgetting we had already ordered. When we explained that she had asked us to reorder, she looked confused and argued with us.

During the meal, my daughter spilled her water. I asked for napkins three times, but they were never brought. We also weren’t checked on once—no follow-up on how the food was, and no offer to replace my daughter’s spilled water.

When I went up to pay, the only thing the server said was “Bill?” No thank you, no goodbye—just that.

We loved the food here! If you’re looking for traditional flavours, this place really nails the Szechuan dishes. Our favourites are the beef brisket and the pickled fish. I love that you can add your own spices/chilis/oils at their DIY bar. Service is quick and friendly.

I was really excited to try rice noodles and discovered this place while walking around Coquitlam. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. It’s possible I just picked the wrong dish, so I’m open to trying something else from the menu next time. On a positive note, my partner really enjoyed his order and finished it. The restaurant itself is clean, spacious, and offers a great variety of condiments.

My go-to place for a hot bowl of spicy noodle soup.

Service was fast and efficient, the place was very clean. Since it’s our first time there, We shared but the tomato beef brisket soup, it tasted a lot like canned soup with no deep beef flavor and very few meat pieces. It wasn’t bad, but have been to other better places nearby…

Ordered the fish CB and beef brisket. Soup is super delicious. Our go-to place on a rainy day.
