Finally tried Beaver Pizza after living here for 15 years. LOVED IT!!! We usually gravitate towards thin crust/wood-fired pizza, but those are becoming more and more unaffordable. We found this to be really good value as a medium fed 3 of us. Our Beaver pizza had a puffy crust, but it was light and airy, not overly heavy and dense (We had olives, red onion and mushrooms.) I only wish they'd do a paneer/Indian-style pizza. Staff were friendly! Looking forward to more Beaver😉
This place has the best pizza in town. No question about it... It's not the cheapest pizza. Because of this we only eat here on special occasions. You get what you pay for.. It's too bad so many people won't bother to try this place because it is a "convenience store". I always brag about this pizza but often as soon as they hear the word "convenience" they write it off. Honestly, I understand why they do but this place is a diamond in the ruff!
20 mins outside Courtenay - whipped out the phone to order a medium Popeye for pick up. One of my favorite things to eat when we visit Comox Valley. Excellent crust (cripsy but chewy) & toppings are fresh & good quality - all oven baked to perfection. Takes average 30-40 mins so call ahead.
