We had lunch at Boston Pizza in Courtenay. The restaurant was not busy, it took our server way too long to bring us our beverages, 3 coffees and a lemonade. Not once were we asked if we wanted refill of our drinks. Our food arrived, sad to say our food was so so. The quesadilla didn't even look like it was cooked, pressed in a hot pan, the spicy Mac & cheese was more sauce than anything and the Caesar salad had way too much dressing. Don't think we will be back.
As a teenager I always went to the Original Boston Pizza on Jasper Avenue in Edmonton. Now as a Senior my wife and I relive that experience every 6 weeks @ the Courtenay location as we order the large Boston Royal. This gives some extra slices for lunch the next day. Always excellent and the waitresses sometimes get the correct answer to my quiz. What was the name of the city that had the first Boston Pizza? Edmonton
I came in this evening with my mom and daughter, I understand our server was busy but we truly had the worst service!
He barely spoke to us, only in passing quickly, no cutlery was brought to our table, I had to go ask for it, no drinks were refilled or empty plates taken away, I even had to go to the bar to ask for my bill!
