For dinner and a comfy, family friendly atmosphere, we chose Boston Pizza to bring our high school basketball team. When one of the girls accidentally overtipped our server, Brian, he very sweetly explained an appropriate tip amount for her bill and made her take back her money. Giggles all around. Good food, service and a tipping etiquette and math lesson! Thank you:)
We had lunch at Boston Pizza in Courtenay. The restaurant was not busy, it took our server way too long to bring us our beverages, 3 coffees and a lemonade. Not once were we asked if we wanted refill of our drinks. Our food arrived, sad to say our food was so so. The quesadilla didn't even look like it was cooked, pressed in a hot pan, the spicy Mac & cheese was more sauce than anything and the Caesar salad had way too much dressing. Don't think we will be back.
As a teenager I always went to the Original Boston Pizza on Jasper Avenue in Edmonton. Now as a Senior my wife and I relive that experience every 6 weeks @ the Courtenay location as we order the large Boston Royal. This gives some extra slices for lunch the next day. Always excellent and the waitresses sometimes get the correct answer to my quiz. What was the name of the city that had the first Boston Pizza? Edmonton
