I attended a birthday celebration at Floods last night. This establishment has been a staple for many years, particularly popular in the early 90s. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the bartender's unprofessional demeanor; I waited at the bar for 15 minutes before I was able to place my order. I had to initiate the conversation by asking, "Hello, can I order a drink?" To make matters worse, their liquor selection was quite limited. When I requested a Patron margarita, the bartender informed me that they did not have Patron and, in fact, very little liquor overall. One would expect a bartender to offer alternatives, but that was not the case. Later on, my daughter ordered three meals. While the chicken was satisfactory, the candied yams were disappointing. I am willing to pay for quality food, but it seems that we often receive subpar offerings at high prices. Am I alone in feeling this way? I am becoming increasingly frustrated.

Little loud, to be expected for this type of bar maybe. Sat separated from the main bar by a long glass mirror wall for a family dinner. The lighting was terrible. We initially sat with backs to the mirror but found we were blinded by stupid led spotlights pointing from the ceiling. Changed to the other side to be greeted by the same lights bouncing off the mirror. Extremely poor design choices. I get that soundproofing is expensive, but sensible choices on lighting are generally not. The steak was miserable, the smallest little portion of steak, maybe I’m not used to Canadian measurements ie oz. Regardless, the steak size would have been a kid’s meal in Australia. Service was pretty good, staff were probably short on hands for how busy they were.

We ordered take out for the first time from this restaurant. They forgot to add the dip with the beef dip and The $28 Chicken Parmesan meal was terrible. The pasta was underdone with no taste and the chicken had hardly no sauce as well.

Our last visit to this restaurant the food was horrible, and all 4 of us at the table complained to our server about the food.. it's also unbelievable loud in there. The other customers are practically yelling to hear each other.. in our opinion this place should be avoided

Came across this place when looking for somewhere else and very happy I did! Delicious chicken bacon fettuccini. Service was a little slow but not terrible and the waiter very friendly. I’d go back!
Really great service, all the staff I encountered were friendly and kind. Food was delicious, nothing fancy - good solid bar food. Best bar I've eaten at in the Valley recently.

Great dry garlic ribs. Friendly staff. All food made in house....fries, dry garlic ribs to burger patties et alia.
Well, unfortunately Fluid has really gone down hill. They have reduced the menu significantly since we were there a few weeks ago. There were little to no patrons there at prime dinner hour on a friday night. That says something. It used to be fun, had a great menu with lots of choices and great drinks. What Happened??? It really doesn't feel inviting and the food we did have was fairly average. We won't be back or recommend your restaurant again.
