I have never had a worse chicken sandwich from KFC. Lettuce was rotten. Bun was over microwaved. Cooks didn't care.

Got a chicken sandwich with brown and slimy lettuce on it, went up and asked them about it they said they were out of lettuce so they just used old lettuce???(there is a thrifty food next door) I asked them to remake the sandwich without lettuce they took the sandwich away and put it in the microwave or something for 30 seconds and gave me back THE SAME SANDWICH with nothing changed, it was the worst chicken sandwich I have ever had, I had to throw it out, they refused to give me a refund or another sandwich DO NOT COME HERE!!!!

This was my first time coming into the Courtenay KFC. They have large boxes over the tills instructing people to use the computers to order. We had cash so we ended up needing to get help at the till anyway. The three other people that we saw tried to use the computers but ended up giving up and going to the till. I did not like that they were telling people to go straight to the self order. It felt very unwelcoming and I was tempted to leave right away but I stayed and ordered. We got a bucket of chicken and fries (one of their special deals). It was extremely greasy and average at best. The staff seemed to be fighting behind the counter. A woman that was in there just wanted a bucket of chicken with no sides but it was less expensive to get meal with sides. It was very strange to her and I agreed. Why can’t you just get a bucket of chicken anymore? It is so wasteful to force people to add sides when they don’t want them. I won’t go back. There are better fried chicken places in town.
