Went for dinner there. My wife is celiac. Shared mussels! and Caesar salad. Both were excellent. Our guests had short ribs. The plate was eaten clean! Will return when next in Courtenay!
First of all I loved the map in the front of the menu that shows where everything comes from. Beautiful building by the river, lovely atmosphere. Most of all, the food was exceptional and the service outstanding.
We came here for my birthday and were pretty disappointed.
The venue is gorgeous with a beautiful garden and weeping willow.
Our server Georgette was very kind and attentive, however we sat for an hour and a half before our food arrived. Our drinks took a while to come out as well and we only ordered tea and lemonade. Neither of these were the fault of the server, and there were large groups at the restaurant which accounted for the lengthy...
