South African comfort food? What could that be? With a dopey grin, I ordered Bunny Chow. It was the culinary equivalent of grandma knitting you a winter scarf. Very interesting and enjoyable.
Pretty unique and tasty South African breakfast options
Really a great job on light lunchs. Quiet decor allowed is to easily conduct a meeting and enjoy home made goodies
A walk in surprise to exceptional European menu and presentation. My wife’s avocado toast with soft poach egg was finessed with local arugula, slice of pickled red onion, tasty spread of some sort topped off with generous spices. Cappuccino was creamy , smooth and wanting more & more. Had to thank the lady chef for that breakfast!
We worked with Mignon and Kie to cater our workshop and they did a fantastic job - great communication, great prices and the participants loved the food. I would highly recommend them or catering your event. Thanks Mignon and Kie!
We recently had the pleasure of working with Mignon & Kie Deli and Grazery for a significant event and our fundraiser, and we couldn't be more impressed! Their ability to cater such an event was exceptional. The quality of the food was outstanding—every bite burst with flavour, and you could taste the care and expertise that went into each dish.
The attention to detail was remarkable, from the beautifully presented salad to the personalized service. Mignon & Kie Deli and Grazery went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our catering experience was perfect. Our guests raved about the delicious food, and the positive feedback has been overwhelming.
If you're looking for top-notch catering, impeccable service, and mouth-watering flavours, Mignon & Kie Deli and Grazery is the place to go. They made our event unforgettable, and we can't thank them enough for their incredible work!
I’ve also frequented their location on 5th Street and have enjoyed excellent coffee and lunch snacks, along with great, friendly service.
Delicious food, excellent coffee and friendly, helpful service.
We ordered split pea soup and a quiche, and a double americano each. The soup was so watery and didn’t taste like pea soup at all. Maybe some kind of bone broth with no flavor. The quiche was just as flavorless. It was fluffy, and didn’t taste like egg or anything. So bland. Really disappointing.
Stopped in for lunch on a whim and had a great meal! I think this is the first South African restaurant I’ve ever been to, and I’d definitely come back!
Stopped in for something nee for the Fiances birthday. Service was great and the food is delicious. Great variety that we will definitely be back to try other items.

Staff took other people in line that were behind. Not recommend
We had a turkey&brie sandwich and a chocolate croissant for late lunch. It’s very tasty. Overall atmosphere is nice and calm. The service is great.

Service was good. I loved the big garage door looking out onto 5th Street. The food was pretty good. Their turkey sandwiches were great. A bit on the pricy end though.
