Spent the past long weekend with the family skiing at Mt Washington. I had dinner (uncooked burger) on our first night and came down with severe food poisoning then spent the rest of the weekend in bed at our Chalet. Certainly a disappointing experience to be sick and miss the ski weekend at a considerable cost (not to mention the poor snow conditions). Thought that I should post my experience after reading that someone else recently had a similar food poisoning experience. Recommend that management looks into this matter immediately so others don't experience the same thing.Kid-friendliness: Good for kids and big groups.

Use to be a great place to party. Now it’s cheesy, too expensive and the entertainment sucks. They should really model after Whistler, not the ghetto.

Sooo bad, the food was so bad I couldn't eat, no one in our table could (clam chowder). The service wasn't so good, we weren't even given utensils.

As a 20-year season's pass holder, I never eat there. A cold PB&J sandwich is better than the slop they sell there.

I visited Ted’s and ordered a Hawaiian pizza on Sunday January 14th @ 4pm to split with a friend of mine, we both ended up getting severe food poisoning, that was the only meal we had both shared that day, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had, I hope this does not happen to anyone else, Ted’s has been fine in the past as I’ve visited multiple times, but this was very hard to deal with and i couldn’t imagine a person of weaker frailer conditions suffering the same as i did.

for food- but we ordered wrong. And 3/5 for service. There is a lack of recent reviews so given that…this a full one. First- it’s the only effin’ place open past 5 - even though google says it’s closed. I was optimistic Yvette sound of the specials: Quesadilla special was tomato onion pesto, and soup was a roast red pepper corn chowder. But- we were led astray. I shared the Skier stew - prob from a can and we decided it was Puritan beef stew with maybe a few things added. I got a small house salad w chickpeas- plain and lightly dressed- which was just fine. Poutine gravy was fine- fries were old and cooled off. The worst was the tempura green beans- tasted like cooled crispy nothings. HOWEVER- the table next to us ordered nachos and pizza, and these looked like the winners. Service was fine. Oh- beware of the Caesars. Mine came out spicier and punchier than I’ve ever had before. Lastly I thought decor was fine. Spacious and kinda lounge like with booths and big tables and lots of windows looking out. All together, there was highs, and lows, and lower lows. So 2.5/5.Vegetarian options: Crispy texture but bland af. Ranch was best thing on the plate.

Tiny bowl of clam chowder $19, 250oz or so- not a single bit of clam found…not a nice flavor either. The special was Thai Veggie Curry which is what the “chowder” tasted like…and when we went to send the bowl back we were told “that is the chowder”. No offer to replace. Decor is from the 70/80s.

Every time I have been here the food has never disappointed. Especially their mass seatings, like the season’s pass holders lunch or even Christmas dinner. The food quality and taste is amazing for a ski lodge where there’s usually high turnover and no consistency. Ted’s has earned my trust as a solid and consistent place to eat. I even drive up just for Christmas dinner. The spread was awesome. It’s buffet, so bring your empty tummy and load up with delicious delightful dinner.

The good:- Good service- Decent atmosphere (music not too loud, sports on the TV)The bad:- one of the worst food experiences I've ever had. Please do not order the stew whatever you do.I also tried the chicken burger, and fries. Both we're tragic. Fries tasted stale and recooked - oddly chewy. Chicken burger was bottom barrel as well - sauce was good but that was the only redeeming quality.Staff were very friendly and we had good service but I don't think I'll be coming back

The food might actually be a health hazard. And only VIB on tap? Who is rating this place 5-star?!

Pretty brutal experience. Google and their website say open until 9pm. Get there at 8pm. And greeted with an employee passing by saying bars closed. No hello, no explanation, absolutely zero hospitality. Understandable that they want to close early if it's dead, but how are we supposed to know that? We came up here (staying at deer lodge) planning to eat there, we didn't exactly bring food for dinner.I wouldn't have written this, but this experience displayed that the staff are vastly under qualified to offer a hospitable experience when situations like ours happen.Just change your hours guys. Don't advertise your open and then close when it's inconvenient.
