Tiny bowl of clam chowder $19, 250oz or so- not a single bit of clam found…not a nice flavor either. The special was Thai Veggie Curry which is what the “chowder” tasted like…and when we went to send the bowl back we were told “that is the chowder”. No offer to replace. Decor is from the 70/80s.
Every time I have been here the food has never disappointed. Especially their mass seatings, like the season’s pass holders lunch or even Christmas dinner. The food quality and taste is amazing for a ski lodge where there’s usually high turnover and no consistency. Ted’s has earned my trust as a solid and consistent place to eat. for food- but we ordered wrong. And 3/5 for service. There is a lack of recent reviews so given that…this a full one. First- it’s the only effin’ place open past 5 - even though google says it’s closed. I was optimistic Yvette sound of the specials: Quesadilla special was tomato onion pesto, and soup was a roast red pepper corn chowder. But- we were led astray. I shared the Skier stew - prob from a can and we decided it was Puritan beef stew with maybe a few things added....read full review
