This cafe and art shop is my absolute favourite in the whole of Comox Valley. Endless and changing art to look at and buy, delicious treats, area for kids to play, and outdoor seating! It’s family owned and they’re so lovely. Must check it out if you’re in the area!

I've had very good experiences with the food and service at Tintown but the panini I had today was the worst ever....very little bacon, three (3) cranberries, thin bread, thin cheese spread....altogether I felt I got rinsed....because I can make a better panini and I can't cook, lol. Hopefully, this was exception to the normal high standards. As usual, service was very good. I sat outside at a table basically in a parking lot, so low rating on that, but I understand there is not much the cafe can do about that without moving.

Charming hidden gem in Courtenay!
We stumbled upon this lovely café near our Airbnb — tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, but easy to find with Google Maps.

They offer a great selection of pastries and coffee. The latte was smooth and flavorful, the croissant perfectly crisp and fluffy, and the berry muffin was just right — tasty without being overly sweet.

The café also doubles as a local art gallery, showcasing a wide variety of handmade pieces by local artists. It gives the space a creative, welcoming vibe. The owner is incredibly friendly and passionate, which made the experience even more special.

Highly recommended for a relaxed and inspiring morning coffee stop!

Lovely people running this café. I love the environment and all of the art everywhere and the food and drinks are so delicious. High quality espresso shot and amazing gluten free sandwiches. Delicious gluten free desserts. It's my favourite café in the comox valley. ❤️ Kid friendly.

It is such a unique little coffee shop in amongst Tin Town. The food and beverages are always top notch and the staff just as lovely.

Flat white here was delicious. They use light to medium roasts by a coffee roaster called Regard. I ended up visiting the shop in Nanaimo and bought a few bags of beans. The staff here was very friendly and I loved the interior of the coffee shop.

They have a weird policy about screens use. This in of itself is not ideal but is fine. The issue is they couldnt articulate the reason for this policy, and made my partner sit outside in the cold while I was finishing my work, despite ample available seats inside.

Also they weren't very considerate or nice about it either. Just an unnecessarily unpleasant and cold (literally and figuratively) experience. Maybe if you are a regular that lives in the neighborhood this place would be good/more welcoming.

Lovely out of the way cafe with a wide selection of drinks and food. Filled with artwork and locally created goods. Always a good experience and love that they have laptop free times.

Fabulous unexpected find. Delicious chicken curry panini and carrot cake - both obviously hand-made. Super thick berry smoothies, not too sweet. Lovely local crafts: pottery, artwork, cards, jewellery. Helpful and friendly staff

I do like this cafe. However, $1 extra for oatmilk is a bit over the top. Waiting for the day when cafes don’t discriminate against people who are lactose intolerant.

Fabulous gallery and shop, including local artisans. Teas and coffees were all lovingly made and tasted fabulous. Bakery items were all fresh and tasty.

Great coffee, nice folks BUT the noisiest coffee spot I have been to! Certainly not a spot for a coffee and contemplation!
