Worst service I have ever had at a restaurant

The food was terrific. I enjoyed a cup of the chowder and the Korean beef burger with a fried egg. The latter was super message but the flavours were delicious. My friend had the Beef Dip and enjoyed it very much. She only thought once that it needed a little less horseradish. Maybe that could have been on the side as I love horseradish.

Mel was a new server and did a very good job. We enjoyed the views and had lots of conversation. It was a good day.

Four of us had a lovely late lunch.The menu is varied and we each ate something different. The food was delicious.

Came in for Art night, our server was amazing, the event was so fun. I'd definitely return for the next art night if held here. It's close to home and I really enjoy the food.

Service was good, I had the Yorkshire pudding dish and it was more like bread than a Yorkshire pudding.

Parking: Street parking is very hard to find squeezed at the side of the narrow main road. There is parking under the pub that we didn't see until we walked from the street parking.

My first Visit was awesome but last time two racist servers did not serve good. They gave me wrong drink and made weird faces. Shame on food servers.

I truly enjoy the experience here. The view is fantastic, and the patio is a great feature overlooking the ocean. The prices are fairly decent.
The cons are that it can be a bit difficult to find parking at times, as it's a tiny little road with all businesses along it. I'm rarely able to park in the underground parking, and I usually have to park a bit of a distance away. The service is also hit and miss, it's either really fast, or you're waiting for your drink order for 30 mins.

The food and service was good but what wasn't good was how ridiculously loud the instructor that was doing paint night! We asked if he could turn his mic down but were told that it wasn't possible. I couldn't even talk to people at my table. After dinner we went for a walk on the pier and over halfway to the end we could still here him clearly. If you are hosting a paint night, maybe figure out how to make it enjoyable for everyone.

Unfortunately, we went for dinner with friends and it was paint nite. The person that was running the paint night had he sound so loud that we almost had to shout across the table to each other to have a conversation. When I asked our server if they could turn it down a little bit. His response was "I don't think so.?" Instead of saying I'll ask, or see if he can? He just decided their entertainment was more important than any other guests. I guess??? I should have asked for the manager, but, at that point, I just wanted to eat and leave. What should have been a nice dinner for the four of us turned out to be eat and run. I surely will not go there again on an evening when that scenario is going on. I'm a paying customer. If I want to be ignored, or have someone else's evening be more important than mine when I'm spending good money at that establishment. I'll be hard pressed to go there again on any night.

One of the best halibut and chips I have ever had. Others at the table were really impressed with their meals. It's loud inside but it is a pub. World series game was on the TV. I'll be back.
