Original Udder Guys Ice Cream and Candy

This is by far the best ice cream I've ever had, especially the pistachio. Wait, the pistachio is terrible, please do not buy it .. I will gladly suffer with more for me.

The best ice cream ever I’ve been here like 4 times in the last week and I’m from Nanaimo 😭

What a lovely place for a treat. Made in store, fun candies and epic fudge.

Ice cream is ok. It probably uses some fresh ingredients but the taste is overly sweet and not very creamy, and it is very expensive.

Stopped in here with the kids and was excited to see they had gluten free waffle cones available! The very lovely young ladies working had impeccable cross contamination protocols, I was super impressed with how careful they were.

Delicious ice cream and a perfect stop on a hot day. They offer a great selection of flavours, including freshly made ice cream and refreshing sherbet. A fun, tasty treat whenever you’re passing through.

One of the best ice cream parlors ive been to, just shy of the beacon drive-in in victoria, to be fair the beacon has memories for me there, but the udder guys have a vast selection of ice cream flavours, and the flavours dont over power the ice cream which is perfect !
i think if you add a small selection of food to the menu, you have a bit more traffic coming through the door, (ie: hot dog, nachos, wings, ect...)
but all that aside,

The best milkshake ever !! Especially the licorice shake

My wife and I found this little shop 8 years ago while visiting the Victoria Fertility Clinic after years of IVF treatments and down to our last hopes and embryos. The icecream was the best we had ever had and gave us a sense of hope and optimism as my wife convalesced at a nearby AirBNB/VRBO. After a dozen prior failed attempts, this time we were blessed with a pair of twins and we now return to Udder Guys every year in celebration. The new owners were extremely gracious following a recent visit where the counter-girl was overtaxed by a large demanding group and able to provide limited service. We were so gratified to learn she had self-reported the incident and taken steps to correct it before we arrived the next day (unknown to her) to fulfill our annual pilgrimage and were greeted warmly and enthusiastically by the owner. We spent less than $50 in the store but in return received something priceless - even beyond the world’s best lemon custard or wild berry blend: Renewed faith in good people, the power of forgiveness and good intention, and the value of family - the young attendant was the owner’s own daughter - and our twins, now 7, received an important lesson (and the icecream, they pointed out) as we discussed the event and how we can all learn/improve/persevere/serve others with integrity (and “the creamiest icecream ever!” according to our daughter) and continued on our more than 1,000-mile journey.

Interesting selection of candy, many unique choices you can't find anywhere else. Love the look of the store! It's fun to take a stack of coins to spend on the wall of gumball machines :) the prices are a bit high for some treats (things like Milk Duds or Whoppers where you can go down the road and get them half the price) however the price of the ice cream is understandable. One bite and you'll taste the quality and freshness! Yummy. Staff are very friendly too.

Cute & cozy place for coffee ice cream and shakes! We tried roasted coconut ice cream. It was delicious. They also have candies for kids.
