“Tonight I ordered chicken alfredo. It was delicious.
I have to say the bread that they make is absolutely amazing. It came so hot that when you put butter on ,it instantly melts. The service from the greeting at the door until the very end was great. Thank you Gerry for an enjoyable meal. I very much plan on coming back the next time I'm in town.😊”

“My favorite in Cranbrook. Tonight, without reservation they accommodated me at the bar. The service and friendliness as always terrific. Alas the chicken breast (the special) was rubbery (chicken as a basketball, reflect on it). However the meal overall was delicious, sauce tasty, the roast vegetable superb. I can forgive the chicken (likely over-exercised in life- too much time in the gym. I will be back, but for a while remain wary of the special. 8/10. We all miss sometime.”

“oh boy. best food in canada, best experience in canada. every dish, the chef puts 100% of his effort into. the flavour blooms and explodes in your mouth. And if you come often enough, the restraunteur will learn your name and come and chat with you. i’ve eaten fancy food, and i’ve eaten expensive food, but none of those other experiences have been half so wonderful.”

“The drinks here are so good! We had an amazing meal here as well! I highly recommend a visit. Staff was so friendly and engaging, the bar tender made us some VERY tasty martini’s Nuts and Berries and Chocolate which were delicious. The food was fresh, veggie quesadillas and schnitzel and the atmosphere unbeatable. 5 stars from our family and we will be back!”

“Great place and we had fun, and definitely would come back, but please help your pool tables!!! They are in deplorable condition. It's also too bad that you sat them next to a pole and a wall that impedes shooting. Not the best location. In any case, as one of only two places that minors can go to learn to play the game, it's a real shame that the tables are left in the condition they are in. If you do choose to redo the tables, please ask whomever you get to teach your staff how to clean them properly after every shift, because they were incredibly dirty.”

“A local gem. Great home made food. I especially love the elk and lamb meatloaf and the brisket pho grilled cheese. Local beers on tap, cocktails, friendly service and atmosphere 👌 brunch buffet monthly, free pool, tons of TVs to watch sports. A good time to be had!”

“The cranbrook smittys is phenomenal, for a multitude of reasons. The staff and owners are always friendly, attentive, and caring. The service is always speedy and the food is delicious. We take our kids on a regular basis and they always leave happy. The prices are super affordable, and the food taste great.”

“Love love love the Chicken Curry Salad! Folks, if you don't know what to eat for lunch, just go grab a chicken curry salad from Max's place, not only it will fill you up it tastes like heaven. It has a refreshing balance of vegetables mixed with the light spiced curry chicken with pasta noodles. They now make the wrap version for those who don't want the pasta.”

“Great little sushi place! Visited back in Summer and had a great meal. Polite staff at the counter for takeout, and quick prep from ordering to pickup right on time. Sushi itself was nice and flavourful, and the sashimi was top notch. Looking forward to coming back to Cranbrook and stopping in!”

“Food was good. Too much cabbage and onion in the bowl and not enough chicken. Female staff was rude. We spent $70 there and we were short $0.10. The female made me go back to my truck and look for a dime to place the order, which I did. Even my nine and 11-year-old kids commented on how rude the server was. Overall the price was OK. Customer service was poor. I will likely give them one more chance.”

“I ordered food from here today like I normally do, but today it was almost enough to make a grown man cry. Of course I'm talking about tears of joy and not despair, because this food was made especially good. These people work hard everyday to deliver the best quality they can provide and have done so for many years. For that, I'm giving Eastern Wok my seal of approval.”

I ordered a meal off skip the dishes, i got a call promptly from booster juice from a nice girl that told me they no longer make plant based foods ? im vegetarian, so she offered to make me a veggie wrap instead that they dont even have on the menu which was so kind. “Call ahead as operation hours vary based on # of customers. But, this is an awesome old dive bar. These types of places are hard to find (in a world of yuppy breweries). Enjoyed my short visit and loved the old school atmosphere. Can't wait to visit again.”

The burger was juicy, stacked right, and full of flavor.
That signature sauce is next-level addictive.
Fries were hot, crispy, and actually fresh.
Milkshake was thick and classic.
Fast, simple, and seriously satisfying.”

“They were very busy and only had 1 person working out front...he was answering phones, putting together take out and deliveries, and being host/waiter. It was a gong show. Food was good except my fried rice wasn't really fried. They really need to get more staff, not sure if this was just a bad day or what. Took 75 minutes for my food to be ready, so you might want to check how busy they are before trying them. I really liked the ginger beef.”

“Tonight I had a Burger cravings so I Decided to order Whopper at the drive thru for my supper tonight. Payed $11 was so worth the money. Whopper was taste very Good, French Fries was hot . “I am the food coordinator for our hockey team, we played in Cranbrook on the weekend.
I contacted the Edo in Cranbrook days before our game,and they were very accommodating, with our order.
On game day I called to confirm our pick up time. I was very impressed with their professionalism, the order was correct and ready to go, when our bus arrived.
I would highly recommend this restaurant, the food was great, and they can handle large orders.”
