“Tonight I ordered chicken alfredo. It was delicious.
I have to say the bread that they make is absolutely amazing. It came so hot that when you put butter on ,it instantly melts. The service from the greeting at the door until the very end was great. Thank you Gerry for an enjoyable meal. I very much plan on coming back the next time I'm in town.😊”

“My favorite in Cranbrook. Tonight, without reservation they accommodated me at the bar. The service and friendliness as always terrific. Alas the chicken breast (the special) was rubbery (chicken as a basketball, reflect on it). However the meal overall was delicious, sauce tasty, the roast vegetable superb. I can forgive the chicken (likely over-exercised in life- too much time in the gym. I will be back, but for a while remain wary of the special. 8/10. We all miss sometime.”

“oh boy. best food in canada, best experience in canada. every dish, the chef puts 100% of his effort into. the flavour blooms and explodes in your mouth. And if you come often enough, the restraunteur will learn your name and come and chat with you. i’ve eaten fancy food, and i’ve eaten expensive food, but none of those other experiences have been half so wonderful.”

“Pizza Pizza is AWESOME!!!! They have a lot of choices for me as I am celiac. We love thier pizza, chicken bites and chicken wings. Hardik is an awesome delivery guy as well. He is always so friendly and curtious. If I could give you more the 5 stars I would. ????????????????????

“Great place and we had fun, and definitely would come back, but please help your pool tables!!! They are in deplorable condition. It's also too bad that you sat them next to a pole and a wall that impedes shooting. Not the best location. In any case, as one of only two places that minors can go to learn to play the game, it's a real shame that the tables are left in the condition they are in. If you do choose to redo the tables, please ask whomever you get to teach your staff how to clean them properly after every shift, because they were incredibly dirty.”

“Just visited family in Cranbrook from the UK. Food great, "Hit the Deck" great. Service great. Such a warm welcome and we were made to feel so welcome by both the Patrons and the locals. Special thanks go to Robbie, Dustin, Chelsea for making us feel so at Home. We were fortunate enough to see the Oilers play twice in the Stanley Cup and we're hooked straight away. Thanks to Robbie for explaining the many questions about the rules of the game. Not forgetting to mention "Helmie", Helmut Koenigbauer former Bayern Munich player and now local patron. Can't wait to return soon even though it is an 8.5 hour flight and 3.5 hour drive.”

“Good food not as much greas and oils other than taco time nice calm place to visit and good space as well. Some of There special sauces are good as well more on the sweet side and one has spicyness to it. amazing amounts of toppings for the burrito and natchos i had including sauce. basically same as Quesada Burritos & Tacos as well with time that there open, pricing and similar amount it costs. Would definitely suggest visiting. Definitely a good place to hangout and relax.”

“Great little sushi place! Visited back in Summer and had a great meal. Polite staff at the counter for takeout, and quick prep from ordering to pickup right on time. Sushi itself was nice and flavourful, and the sashimi was top notch. Looking forward to coming back to Cranbrook and stopping in!”

“Food was good. Too much cabbage and onion in the bowl and not enough chicken. Female staff was rude. We spent $70 there and we were short $0.10. The female made me go back to my truck and look for a dime to place the order, which I did. Even my nine and 11-year-old kids commented on how rude the server was. Overall the price was OK. Customer service was poor. I will likely give them one more chance.”

“Probably the best burger I’ve ever had. I had the Vancouver Canuck. Being a Leaf fan it was hard to order. Amazing waitress who recommended it. She was Super friendly and witty. Will definitely be back next time I’m here.”

“Was great. Good food served fresh that hasn't been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. Parking is narrow and the drive thru even narrower. If you drive a truck, you're better off avoiding the drive thru. Food is good though. Sometimes Cajun is too spicy for me so I don't order anything spicy lol. Chicken is really crispy though, but a bit pricey.”

“Call ahead as operation hours vary based on # of customers. But, this is an awesome old dive bar. These types of places are hard to find (in a world of yuppy breweries). Enjoyed my short visit and loved the old school atmosphere. Can't wait to visit again.”

“They were very busy and only had 1 person working out front...he was answering phones, putting together take out and deliveries, and being host/waiter. It was a gong show. Food was good except my fried rice wasn't really fried. They really need to get more staff, not sure if this was just a bad day or what. Took 75 minutes for my food to be ready, so you might want to check how busy they are before trying them. I really liked the ginger beef.”

“we went to Fire & Oak last night (June 14th) for my 33rd birthday. My partner and I both ordered the special-steak, garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. It took over an hour for our food. our server kept apologizing about the wait and ensuring our food would be out soon. We were then informed they had run out of potatoes and we had to switch our orders to French fries. Thinking that shouldn't take too long, we were wrong it amd was another half hour before our food arrived. Both of our steaks were ordered as medium rare and both were served to us well over cooked. At that point I was almost in tears telling our server this was the worst dinner birthday ever. Our server kept apologizing but that didn't make up for the absolute terrible experience and extremely disappointing food and we just wanted to leave. They did give us free dessert but with it being my birthday and a steak house I really had higher expectations than my experience delivered. I would not go back, I could not believe a place with such a good rating could be such a horrible choice for a birthday celebration.”

“I am the food coordinator for our hockey team, we played in Cranbrook on the weekend.
I contacted the Edo in Cranbrook days before our game,and they were very accommodating, with our order.
On game day I called to confirm our pick up time. I was very impressed with their professionalism, the order was correct and ready to go, when our bus arrived.
I would highly recommend this restaurant, the food was great, and they can handle large orders.”
