The food and staff are amazing
We stopped here 3 times while on the island - twice for dinner and once for coffee/treats. Delicious food, lovely staff, great location. We will be back!
What a way to finish off a trip to Haida Gwaii! A smaller menu thats crafted to perfection. Large portions for appetizers from what we could see, and highly recommend the mushroom pasta! Cocktails are top notch. If you're going for dinner be sure to arrive prior to 5pm as there was a line up for good reasons!

Blacktail Restaurant & Bake+Brew Cafe is a local gem on Haida Gwaii. The food is delicious, top notch, and lovingly prepared. The pasta and ribeye steak are fantastic. The cafe serves great coffee. The restaurant successfully accommodates allergies. It is a must-visit, beautiful, and unique spot, which is why locals line up before opening. It is a little spendy but you won't regret it.
