Our family’s favourite place for Chinese Food on Haida Gwaii. The menu is really extensive and almost every dish I have tried has been delicious but my favourites are Ma Po Tofu with sliced beef and Singapore Rice Noodles. The dim sum is also quite good.
Tony provides excellent, friendly and welcoming service to all guests.
Excellent food, had the prawn and scallop curry, arrived in good time piping hot and was excellent. Good service, but be aware is cash only.
Our waiter, who seemed like the owner, was very pleasant and smiled often during our dinner. We ordered the hot and sour soup, the Kung Pao Chicken, and Ginger Beef for the two of us. We were going to order a fourth dish but he implored us not to: “Too much food!” We really appreciated that because he was right. To begin, he brought us out complimentary spring rolls… so nice. The food was excellent and served quickly. It was the best Hot and Sour Soup I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to return.
Uncle Tony will never let you down.

Highly recommended🫡
Service is so slow..i have to wait for more than 30 mins for my food to come. Owner served his friends first, who came 20 mins after me. Will probably not come back here anymore.
My food was delicious. Service was efficient, I wouldn't say friendly but it was good. The atmosphere is not great. New decor and furnishings are needed. I'd go back because my wonton soup was really yummy and I loved the sweet and sour chicken. The chow main was okay.
Best Chinese I’ve had in decades !! Too bad they are a ferry ride away from our house lol ?

Hard, very hard, pass.
Incredibly rude server, I'm guessing owner?
They're in the food industry, and he acted put out that we showed up to eat.
How can you mess up a BLT sandwich?!
Easiest thing to make and make it well.
One of the owners and the cook got into a loud argument while we were there.
Really?!
No effort put into food or service.
My advice, walk across the street to the Sea Raven.
$48 for a blt sandwich, clubhouse sandwich and two cokes.
If you're going to charge that outrageous price at least show some appreciation that people show up.

Stopped here for lunch
Should have followed the chicken and crossed the road to the Sea Raven Restaurant
My wife had the BLT and I had the Clubhouse
Both sandwiches had no Butter or Mayo, no salt and pepper.
Fries were overcooked.
The service was terrible. How rude of us to enter and expect to be fed!
Their internet was down so it was cash oily
Maybe if it was dinner time and we had ordered Chinese we would have had a better experience
Overall very disappointing

Don’t sleep on this Chinese restaurant in Daajing Giids. Quick, no-frills service leads to hot, generous portions. I recommend the mussels in black bean sauce!
The food was ok. The service was the worst I ever had in BC in 20 years. Just as an example, the server abruptly left in the middle of taking our order and didn’t come back for 10 minutes, until a customer from another table reminded him about us.

Dreadful , expensive, rude owner,
Was busy when I arrived but I got a table right away. There was only 1 server but she was fast and friendly. I got my food quickly. Had the beef broccoli with chow mein. Prices were quite high but you get big portions. Not a whole lot of eating options around here.
