“When we visit my aunt in Ladner we always come here for lunch . At end of April my aunt was coming to Armstrong to celebrate my moms 85th birthday , she said she would bring the cake . She called cafe de gourmet and ordered a hummingbird cake no nuts for pickup 8:30am . She grabbed it , put in cooler and brought it to Armstrong . It arrived perfect . This was one of the best cakes I’ve had . So fresh moist , tasty and everyone loved it ( especially my aunt who is allergic to nuts and was able to have a piece ) . “Truffles was able to accommodate our order that was 4 business days out (they typically require 1 week notice) and even allowed for a last minute addition of additional sandwiches. The set-up was very nice - they bring accessories such as flowers. People with special dietary requirements had their items individually packaged on a separate plate with their name and item - a nice touch!“

Firstly, they were right on time as agreed for delivery and then we took the lechon an hour and a half away to an event and everybody enjoyed it immensely.
