“Centennial beach is one of the best places in the lower mainland to spend a sunny day. Just off the beach path at the main entrance is the Centennial Beach Cafe serving the beach goers.The cafe offers breakfast, lunch, coffee, and snacks. Breakfast is served until 11:30 and then the lunch items are served until close. The lunch menu includes salads, noodles, burgers, fish and chips, fish tacos, and more. There are also options for kids on the menu.We rode our bikes along the beach dyke all morning and ended up back at the cafe for lunch. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, pad Thai noodles, poutine, and kids chicken wrap. Everything was well prepared, fresh, and tasty.The pad Thai was piping hot, and the portion was generous.The pulled pork sandwich was saucy and tangy. Lots of flavour and better than your average sandwich.The kids wrap had a crispy chicken tender, lettuce, and a lightly toasted shell.Poutine was very cheesy with tasty gravy. Really good.Although the prices are not the cheapest, a burger with fries would be over $10, the food was good and we didn't feel ripped off at all.Overall, the cafe is in a great location and is a great option for a treat while at the beach, or for a meal if you don't want to pack a picnic lunch.“
