“Amazing food. We come to the Sunshine Coast every year and make sure we stop here at least twice each trip. We’ve never had a bad experience - we normally stick with the burgers and fish and chips and have yet to be disappointed. If you’re coming during lunch be prepared for a wait- but don’t get deterred, it’s worth it. Staff have always been friendly and it’s a stop the whole family looks forward to. Thanks for continually being a great place to stop for lunch!”

“Order and come back. They will tell you how long (normally an hour) and they’re pretty precise with that. Importantly, the food is really worth the wait. The fish and chips may be the best we’ve ever had (we are British) and the burger is also just about perfect. Order, go for a stroll and check out the water, come back and enjoy. Done!”

“This pizza was so good! Lots of cheese and toppings. We had the Harbour special and I would highly recommend! There is very limited seating at the window. I would recommend picking up and taking to a nice park or home to eat. Make sure to grab napkins!”

“My husband and I were in Pender having boat repairs done so we ate at Java several times. My husband is an Eggs Benedict afficionado and said they were very good. My omelet and other egg breakfasts were great. The smoothie and dhakes were good too. Service was excellent and we felt very welcome and appreciated. We will be back next year.”

“The coffee (latte) was pretty perfect. More personality to its roast than a Starbucks but perfectly made, neither bitter nor weak. Just a full rounded flavour. Def recommend.”
