Always delicious! Love stopping in everytime I’m in Fernie

Lovely bean to bar Ecuador origin chocolate! Many inclusion bars as well as truffles and gelato in season. Coffee and hot chocolate also served. Large windows into the chocolate making process. Delicious hot chocolate!

Great artisanal chocolate. Not cheap, but an indulgent treat. My friends also gave the hot chocolate 2 thumbs up.

Note that the hours are more like banker's hours. Double check to make sure you are headed there when it's open. We missed the first day we went from the hill as they closed at 3 that day.

I’ve always loved Beanpod, especially their hot chocolate made with alternative milks like almond or oat. Sadly, they no longer offer non-dairy options, which feels exclusionary to those with dietary restrictions. While the chocolates are still great, this change makes me hesitant to return.

Such a friendly atmosphere! The gelatos are so good and the chocolates definitely are a must try. They taste very natural, not overwhelmingly sweet.

I've been to Belgium and had chocolate from muli award winning chocotiers. So when I say that the chocolate at Beanpod is on par with the best that Europe and Belgium have to offer, I mean it wholeheartedly. The same is true of the homemade Gelato that they offer. Hardly anyone in Italy hand make their Gelato in house anymore. The Beanpod puts the Italian vendors to shame. I felt like I was back in Venice 20 years ago when we used to plan our day around the Gelato breaks. Truly excellent!

The gelato here is absolutely phenomenal, you can really taste the quality in the ingredients. I especially loved the honeycomb one that had actual honeycomb pieces in it! Staff is also very friendly as well, highly recommended!

The gelato is delicious. I tried the espresso, chocolate brownie, and stracciatella (Vanilla with chocolate slivers, aka ‘Italian chocolate chip’) and I’d recommend them all. Staff is super friendly. The coffee is also top notch, though they do not have iced options. What they do, they do very well.
