We heard about this place and decided to wait till they opened to have dinner. They happen to be having there buffet and it was incredible food and a beautiful display. Very friendly staff. Defiantly would drive back to eat there again.
Best Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at. That includes much venerated Indian restaurants in Calgary and Toronto and India.The food is amazing because the cooks are talented and the owner provides the best ingredients. That means high quality organic meats and Non GMO vegetables, lentils, nuts and fresh spices sourced from local farmers. You can’t serve delicious food without knowledge cooks and all high quality ingredients. The staff are friendly and service is fast and the food is truly incomparable. I come to this Bistro every time I visit Fernie. Unlike most restaurants that serve the public post Covid pandemic, the Himalayan has not reduced the quality and flavour of their meals to reduce costs! The food is just extraordinary!!! The drive to Fernie is worth the food here.. The lamb Nilgiri and Himalayan tandoori chicken were tender morsels of meat in a tasty complex curry served with soft naans cooked to perfection. .. and all the curry’s in the different dishes taste completely different.
