The carnitas and house chips were fantastic. Atmosphere was authentic and the service was top notch. The outdoor patio was great. Lots of gluten free options clearly labeled on the menu. I would go again in a heartbeat.

Ambaiance is beautiful, nothing to say about that!However, the food is very underwhelming and the prices are too high for what you eat!Still, I wouldn't have left a bad review if we were not imposed to pay 20% tips just because we were 2 families. I understand that large group tipping has always been set. However, that is more of a case when everyone in a party gives different orders, asks for separate bills, etc. I have worked as a chef, a restaurant manager, and a restretaur for years. We were two families, 8 guests in total. I don't think I will be back. And even if we do come back, I will leave one inch space between our tables!!!20% mandatory gratuity, I still can't believe it!

Every step is worn in with heart and soul taking you back to Central Mexico.Laughter, love and tears of elation elevate the murals and paintings on the walls, and then step downstairs into another dimension to be transported into Baja Mexico on the bay. Words can't describe Lunitas, just try the "P.S." salsa and you will want to eat everything on her menu.This is more than a restaurant, this is The Place for everyone.Es un milagro a visitar Lunitas en donde la gente siempre estan felice.

Lunitas is fantastic, I've been many times & never been disappointed. Not listed for food recommendations is the street corn, perhaps because it's seasonal, but it's one of the best things they make, but it's one of those places where if you look on the menu & it looks good, it most likely is.

The atmosphere and service are great . The food was ok. I would like to see a bowl of chips with a nice big bowl of salsa.. but perhaps that's a thing of the past.. the tiny bit of salsa that I got was very good.
