Me and my friends miss our ferry going back to the city and hard time deciding where to chill while waiting for the next one good thing destiny has its funny way of showing us the beauty of life so we end up here and to our surprice the place was magical food and the guys making it are well done know what their doing server without a doubt class trained all in all 5 star.

My first impression was the door because it was so hard to open and close lol I even thought the restaurant was closed because I couldn't open the door. The food was tasty and the friendly service :)

I’ve been to Smittys in the past and it’s always been average, but today we were greeted with the rudest server yet. We went at 3:30 on a Sunday - they are open till 4- and when we went in the sever said rudely “we’re done.” I said what do you mean, your sign says 4? He replied, “I don’t care, we’re done.” Another nicer server replied that they had announced on insta that they closed at 2:30, but there were no notices anywhere on the premises. Big time jerk. Won’t be back

Small portions for overpriced food, and unless you have reservations even for 1 person good chance you won't get in at all

Wonderful place with top quality food and a stunning view. I particularly enjoyed the crab cakes , oysters and fish and chips. The tartar was also very good, as were the shrimp. We were 10 people and everything was brought out on a big board to share, beautifully presented. Make sure to get here early as a line builds up from around midday onward.

Incredibly rude.
We were looking forward to enjoying some high quality seafood Thursday evening.
While their voice message indicated the restaurant was open we did not receive a response to our call. We called again a couple of hours later and left another message. There was no response.
After waiting for another hour we were able to secure a table at a comparable restaurant next door. Fortunately, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Buono Osteria and the sour taste from not receiving any response from Smitty’s was washed away.
Incidentally, we noted they have a second location in Vancouver where we live. We thought this would be a good opportunity to try in anticipation of future dining. Obviously this will not happen.

Oysters and fish and chips were excellent. Serving staff were very knowledgeable and wonderful. Unfortunately side salad had rotten lettuce in it 🙁.
