It was pretty hot in early September, this place may have AC turned on, however, it felt hot inside.”

The staff I met were friendly and very willing to school me on their beers. Offering me tastes of what they thought I would like after asking me what I liked in a beer. Loved this approach to introducing me to their beer. I ended up buying a couple of different beers. The Backyard Bivouac Pilsner was my favourite.”

“After selling both arms and both legs for posh meals in Banff, it was a blast of fresh air to get normal food at a normal price on my way back home. When I ordered a beef dip, the chef himself gave me a kiss on the lips and didn't even have to pretend to like it. Highly recommended.”
