Staff were visibly drinking but trying to hide it. On top of not providing prompt service with only 2 other table full in the whole placeTook over an hour to get our foodHighly not

I usually visit Winston's every time I'm at the resort. They were always open and accommodating but this weekend quite disappointed. They advertised being open until 11pm Fri/Sat and we had a group of 24 people walking down just before 10pm. When we got there they were already packed up and one of the workers told us they're closed. He was holding the door which there was a sign that it closed at 11pm. My biggest advice is to call the place to check if they're open. My review was about the staff and how they were more concerned about doing something else instead of serve us for the last hour they were supposed to be open.

Fantastic food and excellent service. Glad we stopped in at the beginning of our vacation…will 100% go back before heading home. (Prime Rib special was ?)

Ventured into this venue on them attaining a new chef, the food was lovely and the service good. Not a huge menu but covers most things you could want after a day on the slopes.

Seemed like a fine enough place, we arrived and they told us it would be an hour wait. We put our names down and came back 50 minutes later. They said they called our names and then served four people after us. No phone numbers were taken or called. Once we came back they said they couldn’t accommodate us even though we came back a full ten minutes before they told us we would be able to get a table by. Additionally, once we came back and were denied, there was no friendliness towards us or any attempt to be accomodating. I’m sure the place is okay, but it was a bad experience.

The Winston’s previously had a great ambience, quality food, good service and often live entertainment. It was a place where friends met to chat about their ski day…have a drink and a bite to eat, play board games or jenga, sometimes sing-a-long with a band or dance. Sadly times have changed. The menu is minimal and Iill prepared, servers are short staffed, there is no ambience and perhaps worst of all is that no one seems to care. Our family has been going there for 17 years, since it opened, and supported it and it’s local staff even through Covid shut downs, when we commiserated and were “all in it together”. Unfortunately the owners seem to have no regard for customer or staff loyalty and only care about making money off a captive audience. I am sad to say we will not return as a dinner of bad chicken fingers and undercooked chicken wings is not acceptable at a ski resort charging top dollar. Do yourself a favour and book a taxi to downtown.

It looks like Im the first to review after Winston’s reopened with new management and staff. I sorry to say after trying it on 2 separate occasions that’s it’s terrible. Minimal menu and only a handful of premade items actually available and they are not tasty, hot or fresh. This place used to have a fun atmosphere and decent food. Not so now. Give it a miss!!

Food was quite good, bit overpriced but you are at a ski resort so not unexpected.

The burger is some kind of mechanically separated walmart patty just a heads up. Nice place

We have had multiple ski-venings in this cozy spot, enjoying a cocktail and tasty dinner. The service has been fantastic this year and the menu, while limited on options, had always satisfied our various tastes. Hands down the best option to go for dinner while up at KMHR.

We had B&B and then left our car at the secured car parking at Winston . This was a massive bonus to anyone travelling to Southampton for a holiday or cruise. (And a hell of a lot cheaper than P&O stay and park packages )The room we stayed in was lovely and clean and found all staff really friendly, helpful very welcoming .We will definitely reccommend Winston to family and friends who may need to stayThanks to all the team .

Great spot for after skiing drinks, dinner, and on Saturday night, we saw some fantastic live music at Winston’s. A must visit when you get to kicking horse.

I have to say the service was impeccable and food was amazing! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and we were offered a drink while we waited for a table. We sat at the bar and Carla gave us 5 star service. We had the feature meals which we are still raving about! There was live entertainment which brought some excitement to the evening.I highly recommend this place and encourage you to try it for yourself. On another note there was a review by a “Grace” who claimed the staff didn’t contact her regarding her table. While I was enjoying my cocktail while waiting her name was called on three different occasions, the staff even went outside to look for her. I would disregard “Graces” review.
