MBMT has been a wonderful space for the Hazeltons. Now that is under new management and ownership by the Kispiox Band Administration, it's truly a Gitxsan Enterprise. I have loved the locally roasted coffee, the amazing Italian Sodas and the wonderful gift shop that the space has had to offer. I look forward to seeing what new ideas and concepts will be incorporated as well as the long standing favorites that will be in place.
Just popped in for the first time since the change of owners. Great group in there, and super friendly! Come in and support them as they learn the ropes and work on opening up a space for meeting and gathering again in our community <3

Mercedes Beans & Model Teas is a friendly coffee shop with the best coffee beans in town. The French roast Ethiopian coffee is a must-try, with a robust, smooth, and rich flavor. The customer service is top-notch, with staff ready to accommodate last-minute requests. The shop has a personal touch, with artisan crafts for sale and a welcoming atmosphere. While the drinks could be made a bit faster, the availability of soy and oat milk makes it a good spot for vegetarians. The only improvement suggested was adding a ramp for wheelchair accessibility. Overall, a delightful spot with great coffee and a cozy ambiance.
