It’s been a long time since we’d eaten here but we remembered the nice patio they had so we thought we’d try it again. The patio is even nicer than we had remembered, right on the river, beautiful views, high glass to block the wind and canvas sails overhead to provide shade. Quite simply one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. Friendly service, and EXCELLENT food. Food is prepared fresh to order, and it shows. We had: for appies- bone marrow, beet salad, and hush puppies. Mains- pork schnitzel, and chef’s special venison tenderloin on gnocchi, wild mushrooms, crispy brussel sprouts and beet purée (aka a bed of vegetable amazingness). The scallops are to die for! Cooked to perfection and served with a finger licking sauce. Bone marrow came in a more than average size serving and was also done real well. Warm professional service from all staff members too!
