“My experience at the Amsterdam Restaurant was terrific. This restaurant is not hard to miss since it is located right next to the Trans-Canada highway in Kamloops. My first time there, I had the Advocaat Belgian Waffle with coffee. The waffle was amazing; topped with vanilla ice cream, egg liquor, pecans, and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar while the waffle itself was warm, crunchy outside and soft inside. The coffee was great as well. I highly recommend Amsterdam to anyone who happens to come by the restaurant.“

“We were really craving a good soup and not sure what we wanted. I had Jacob's as a saved place to try and so we gave it a go a couple days ago. We had the Seafood Nabe Udon and the Beef Udon. I'm not usually a Udon fan due to some not so good food from a couple places out of town, but this was DELICIOUS!! We will definitely be back for more, and to try a few more new things! 😊 I highly recommend checking them out and trying them for yourself.“

The host was super friendly and gave us advice about Kamloops gave us a map and showed us the murials. “Food was great. Had a salad with chicken and it was cooked to perfection. Came in and dined alone, was expecting a more friendly and attentive server. One of the girls at the front realized I wasn’t being cared for, and Abbie (Abby? Abi?) gladly grabbed me cutlery, refilled my water as well as checked on how my food tasted, etc. without me having to ask. She did a lovely job of going above and beyond and kindly refused when I offered her a small tip saying it “wasn’t necessary”. I will definitely be coming again.“

“One of the most quick and inexpensive Chinese restaurants I’ve been too, not a widely known place but the meals are always delicious and priced very well for Kamloops, if you’re in the mood for Chinese and don’t want to be overcharged for big portions they’re an amazing business and the mom and pop shop atmosphere is genuine. Great food at a fair price highly recommend!“

“For our family of 4, by far the best place to eat. As the sign says at the front...they're experiencing staff shortage so as a patron, you have to be able to be patient. We personally never experienced a problem but maybe we came at a slow time. Food by far was amazing. Service was good, staff was courteous and timely. Not 1 bad thing to stay. Will keep us full for the next 5 hours of our trip home.“
